Many thanks Motto ! Powerful sage advice!!! PS, excuse the autocorrect typo, it should read " infrared" not " infrastructure" as you guessed...I know myself it is easier to preach than practice, but if you sow the seeds sometimes they take root...in receptive earth...so good luck...best nip it in the bud and work for the long term benefit.

Almost half way through this bowl of Year 1926 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed in a 2002 smooth top, black sandblasted quarter bend Karl Erik Ekstravagant horn with a horn insert in the ferrule and black acrylic stem. A cup of Maxwell House is busily brewing. Suzy and Molly were surprised to see me go to bed earlier than usual and probably just as surprised to see me up earlier than usual. Have lots to do and have to get busy this morning. Listening to the MLB talk on the XM.

Dull grey morning here in the uk, more grim news.... Had my cereal breakfast and fed Pop & pets, at least someone appreciates their gift of food. Started with a menthol 0mg vape to clear my lungs, and had a few puffs of my neat all American petite MM Ozark maple Amber stem pipe with my "morn" mix flavoured with strong citrus great Dexter. I thought of trying some snuff , I have seen in the local tobacconist , but I know nothing of it, do any of you guys recommend it ?

I might give snuff a try antb . Had an instant coffee and some puffs of the same Ozark and my tasty mix doing my little work. Pop is his usual self coming over every now and then to see what is going on and greet me, between you and me he is only after some treats, but I cannot give him to many or he will be out of condition,

A Friday liquid lunch of cool pressed apple juice , picking through my box of pipes enjoying some unfinished bowls of my mixes . I have some stiff cherrywood laminate to make into some pipe shelves available online, I was thinking of a few ways to use them, just drill some holes and make some pine brackets and attach them to the wall, but also hang a shelf of pipes beside me with some leather cord from hooks in my side table, so my regular pipes are at hand formed to pick and choose. Found some interesting sites of customising corncob pipes , also of making custom falcon bowls without having to make the proprietary screw thread. Work in progress , just pipe dreams at the moment. Looking forward to my delivery of new Dutch and German tobacco's..

Grabbed a coffee pick me up , a break from the little work, watched a quick video on YT of the Dagners pipe hutch and customising neat folksy corncob pipes, giving me ideas, fun stuff, puffing on my international bent Falcon with the dark billiard bowl of my dark "eventide " mix , pipe dreaming .....
