Happy Birthday Kirby!
I just finished the lawn and it was worse than usual with all the rain we have had as of late. Sitting down here with you fellas for a few minutes before I have to go adjust a closer and reverse a lock for a customer that said that it was just fine originally . Sitting here gives me enough time to enjoy a bowl of 9yo Cornell and Diehl Pirate Kake that was gifted to me by a friend and I find to be quite enjoyable! I have located it in line but will wait and use looking for some as an excuse to visit some pipe shops on the way to California.

I am smoking Wessex Burley Slice in a Ascorti Buisness, ChubbyBilliard/Pot. I have been waiting patiently for this tobacco to be back in stock for months, since it is my go to, favorite smoke, so life is going that much smoother today.. Thankfully I have had Mac Baren’s HH Burley Flake to pacify my Wessex addiction.. Ha!

Now smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. Ice tea and bergs is my drink. Not a bad day here considering the big thunder storms we had last night.

Blimey... I plum forgot that we're in August and now it's too late to remove my July post.
Oh. well... Good things always come in pairs, so here goes. Good morning, you all. First smoke of this Wednesday; McConnell's 'Pure Orient' in a BBB no. 522 - London Made. A persistent thunderstorm having fun just outside my window. My Oriental Tobacco Keeper, Qasim al-Quim, still on vacation.
Did he get approval for this extended leave??? Indeed he did, but the poor thing is delirious with boredom. Not much sight-seeing in the very small Oasis of Bir Keg in the middle of the Sahara. He did bring his trunks, but as he wrote on a postcard: "The sea is a 4 days drive away, so I'll just stay on the beach". I think that he'll be back tomorrow.

Finishing off a jar of Petet Stokkebye Proper English.
No one bought the pipe that was taunting me, so I added it to my cart and checked out.

Good evening, you all. Time for a little late dessert; Rattray's 'Exotic Passion' in a Nomen Nescio no. 1155 S. One of three pipes dedicated to this nice-tasting, but persistent tobacco. To DW, it belongs to the "You're smoking that vile tobacco again" group. The others are another Rattray's, 'Bagpiper's Dream', which she named 'The Boudoir' and all things Latakia.
Thinking of our little talk the other day about 'Exotic Orange'/'Exotic Passion', I did a little sleuthing. The tobacco was launched as 'Exotic Orange', but the manufacturer had to change the name and the design of the tin due to those silly EU directives, but the tobacco is exactly the same. Furthermore, the tobacco in the US is exactly the same tobacco as sold in Europe. That is, no two different versions exist.
