Does anybody else smoke there pipes Jim or is it just you? Most of the time, it sure looks like it's just me. I really wish the lurkers would start posting because there's too much of my posts in a row here. I know you were kidding me, but I take this opportunity to challenge others to do the same. Please!!

I lost my father 7/13 so things have been pretty crazy. Really sudden, another state, eight hour drive and still trying to keep my job here at home. There was absolutely no planning. If there's anything I could pass on from this experience I would strongly suggest everybody make plans for their demise. Make sure the heirs know what they must and put the most trusted one on all your accounts. You don't have to tell them everything. Just make sure they know where to find everything, especially your living will and power of attorney.
Va #1 in an unfinished Sav Lumberman. A shot of Crown Royal for a night cap before bed.

We we all need to vent steam at times , puffers, no need to stop the network, all good fun, happy chappies. Starting with Royal Dutch, a new day, it must be better than yesterday...when all my troubles seemed so far away...

Many thanks for the kind words Stan. Greatly appreciated. My father was unresponsive by the time I arrived and we never had a last conversation, perhaps my greatest regret. Neither of us thought the last time we spoke would actually be the last. So many things I would have told him. I have to take faith he probably already knew them anyway and carry on.
Working on some Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake in a GBD Varichrome 549 bulldog, drinking Trader Joe's coffee this morning.

When you have your back to the wall , you dig in and get back to first principles, a nap whenever you can brings healing , you are not even defeated when you are dead, life goes on. Been puffing on my pear Church Cossack Ukrainian a dark Balkan, having a Royal Dutch mini cigar in my meerschaum holder & filled my new Kong pipe with a plastic face with my RAF morning glory mix.

My first Kong failure, my rustic bamboo shaded figure head, plastic pipe is loosing face, it would not draw with my RAF mix & balsa filter, it seems the metal innards are blocked ? So mixed the RAF blend with some dark Balkan dregs from my MM country gentleman straight Amber , and winding down to think of a bite to eat...GW.

GLP Regents Flake in a Gabrieli cutty. How is that one going for you John? I purchased five tins on a lark and have too many open ones to count. I'm doing my best to weed out the open ones before cracking anymore; consequently, I figured on letting this one age. Now smoking Uhle's Perfection Plug in an MM Country Gent, drinking ice tea with lemon.

Reviving after the hard knock, whiffing a very pleasant Royal Dutch mini cigar in the meerschaum holder with my silvery lighter , I had a toast of a Grouse blend Scotch from my green tartan hip flask in thanks. Need a fishy feast on Friday, my fasting strength is weak. LFM
