Walked Pop & fed us, caught up on the media propaganda, and having a Douwe Egbert coffee in my Royal Albert Mug, whiffing my hamlet cigar in the ebony holder. I was having some intelligent conversation with Siri on my Ms American pie IPad, Her English & manners are impeccable, and so politically correct, and was spot on with her sport stats , the Panthers beat the Broncos at the Super Bowl , but I asked her who won the British Basketball league, but she is an NBA fan and only gave me NBA stats, , but she knew Man Utd won the FA cup, so I won't switch her off yet. But she is not to hot on uk facts and figures but like quicksilver on usa stats . But when I asked to recite a poem , she came out with some perfect gobbledygook , I think she be a hobgoblin....but a fun hobbity gob....be seeing YA later. Guys & Gals.

Puffing on my MM C gent, Amber straight with Uncle Tom's , slaving over a hot stove doing frozen fish fingers for Friday lunch . I tried one of the small Chinese corncobs ( less than a dollar each in places, see, what's in the mail ? ), small but nice smoke of my Double Dutch mix , sitting on the corner garden bench earlier , threatening to rain again , but sun shining now, Butchered one of the Corncobs trying to drill it with a hand drill, hence I ordered a vice for the bench drill. A busy morning in a way , constructive in a way, hobby wise... My Kendal plugs may be here tomorrow. Pop is a lot happier in this weather. Lunch done , be seein'ya !

Ice water and bergs is my evening drink. The last of my stash of Solani Silver Flake in a brown sandblasted medium bend 1970s Savinelli Autograph 5 freehand with a black acrylic stem. Had to pick a big bowl to hold what was left of this blend. About time for Vin Scully.

Samuel Gawith Best Brown Flake in a 1998 Peterson 999 9mm pipe with a Savinelli balsa filter. This combo really works for me. I also have a 2001 dedicated to Full Virginia Flake. Both were purchased from Europe where these pipes are more common. I normally dump the heel and don't worry about it with most tobaccos and pipes but these seem to effortlessly turn these tobaccos to grey ash with me not even thinking about it until the pipe goes out, maybe a single tamp on the way down. Gotta love it when a plan comes together.

Had to pick a big bowl to hold what was left of this blend. About time for Vin Scully. I haven't had the pleasure of much Stonehaven, only a couple ounces, but this one may be the closest to that one I've enjoyed. I may actually prefer it, enough that I've jarred a few tins. It's also currently readily available unlike Stonehaven.

Mac Baren Vanilla Cream in a 1978 silver capped Peterson 307 Star System, drinking Trader Joe's coffee. This pipe is sufficiently ghosted from years of being dedicated to this tobacco I don't believe it could be reversed; fortunately, it's a friendly ghost and there's no reason we should ever part company 'til death do us part.

Starting off my smoking day with Country Squire Rivendell in a 1979 no name French briar smooth full bend egg. Welch's Red Grape Juice is my drink. Suzy and Molly were happy to see me wake up. They acted like they hadn't eaten in weeks, but when I got to the kitchen I saw m'lady had already fed them. The little buggers thought they'd fake me out with those innocent faces, but not this time. I see they are eating the rest of the food, now.
