So the residential I was taking was on the north coast of Ireland. On my way home I stopped for a lunt and took a couple of snaps... White Rocks (that's what it's called. It's not just a picture of white rocks)... This is Kinblane Head. If you look on the top right, the shadowy land behind the island is Scotland... I had a bowl of holger danske orange and vanilla in my modified mm legend...

Absolutely Beautiful!
I'd love to visit Ireland one day. It's on my list of places to go whenever I can afford the European vacation that I've wanted to take since I was a kid.

Beautiful for sure!
Another bucket list.
It always amazes me in settings like that, people meet their demise... the Grand Canyon has claimed many victims, and the sand cliffs above California beaches have claimed their share.

The wife and I hope to one day visit but not sure when that will happen. I know its going to be a pain in the arse but with sites like these, I'd even travel with my camera gear.

Beautiful place to live.
It's not my beloved Arizona desert, but I have to admit that is a slice of grandeur.

Ireland is a beautiful place. Never made it north to The Six Counties when I was there in '72. Too much political friction back then.
I would love to visit again.

Beautiful ... also on my list of places to see. I was in England and Wales back in the early 90's but did not get to Ireland or Scotland. trailboss ... did you ever see that book, Over the Edge: Death in the Grand Canyon? Most of the deaths were sheer stupidity and they bold print those actions ... (ex., He was climbing solo when he fell)

Very repetitive. Darwin is still hard at work.

Planning on visiting the North soon. We have been all over the ROI and it's heaven on earth. The Grand Canyon is just a dirty hole in comparison.

For sure!  You're a dirty hole!!    No slight meant to beautiful Arizona, but you must see the Ring of Kerry and the Cliffs of Moher before you die. And downtown Dublin. And the Waterford waterfront. Etc.

Some years back, a fighter pilot from Luke AFB was just a few feet from his toddler when she went over the edge...I cannot imagine the grief.

Actually, we're using our Tesco vouchers which give 3x the value and staying at the marker hotel, Dublin, in October. Can't wait for that. Temple bar area is buzzing.

He should be shot! 😈

Connemara is nowhere near me, unfortunately. It's within a short commute for an American, but for us on this tiny island, it's way too far. I should have taken photos from Balintoy Harbour, which was between the two photos above. Balintoy is where Game of Thrones is filmed. Actually, there's quite a bit of the north coast that's used in Game of Thrones.
The tourist board is capitalising on it and offering tours of the sites.

I’m not a traveler but damn I’d go there. I'm afraid I'm with cajun...hate to travel, but I'd love to go there for those sites. Still miss my Arizona desert as well...cactus and critters loved it when I was there. That modified Legend is beautiful. Was that done with black stain?

Cheers - very simple...It was done with a dremel to rusticate it. Then stove spray paint and then an enamel paint on top. Took all of about 30 mins to do.

Or do you use public transportation?
