Their old pipes are still quite fine in the looks department, and smokability is still tr8ed and true.

Every pipe smoker should have a few Edwards pipes in their rotation......you won’t be disappointed!!! on the lookout on ebay. Not much in the UK. |

You can find a US seller on eBay that would ship to the UK. If you find a particular Edward’s pipe on eBay that you would like, send me the link and the maximum price you are willing to pay. I’d bid on the pipe for you and ship it as a “ gift “ to you. You can pay me back for the cost of the pipe using PayPal Friends & Family. I’ll pay for the shipping to you...not a big deal. |

You're too kind, but I I don't have a budget right now. Times are tough. And for my birthday I'm going to get some tobacco and a dagner cob.
I think I'm better sticking to cobs when I've to be extra careful with money.

I wonder would it be better not to taunt whoever it is, my friend. I don't want this thread imploding.
As for the pipe - I could purchase it for my birthday, but I'm not sure I would really appreciate what I have. I dare say I'd still smoke my cobs just as much as I do. If it was £10 I would possibly bite. hmm. Not sure.

If I could make an offer I would, but they want to start bidding at £30. I doubt I'll get it. Can't really justify it. I may regret that decision later.

That's a later pipe not made from Algerian briar. You want the older ones which will be stamped Algerian Briar.  Is that the only distinguishing feature to set them apart from a regular briar pipe? Asking for a friend, who wants to start trolling eBay  |

I'd never heard of them much until this thread, but I'd heard of many other brands and none of them had such an individual following. You really love your Edwards... I'm just curious as to why. |
