I voted no only because money issues prohibit me from spending on pipes or tobacco...not because it isn't a good idea.

Count me in. I will buy a PoTY and then donate it to the next benefit auction or raffle supporting the Patch.

I would have thought that might encourage them to bring it back into production. well, they want to, but have said that so far they have not come up with a feasible option, I'm assuming that means they have not found a way of producing them at a cost they find acceptable, but maybe it's also a materials issue.

I really like that one. Any idea when it was made? The metal band isn't on this one, so I imagine it's WW2 era.

Bulldog cob is immensely cool regardless of availability. It's likely been a durable production issue.

I hate to be a doubter but I'm having trouble visualizing a cob as a Bing. The problem for me is the thin shank. Even though they are using a hardwood the thinner the material gets the weaker it gets. So the length of the shaft with the thickness of the shaft add the weight of the bowl and the stem. In my mind the shaft is a weak link. The only way to strengthen it would be by adding a tube to the shaft. The above is the result of spending time and effort fixing broken stuff. MacArthurs don't break. This is silly.

They could make a run of 100 or so corndogs once a year and see how they sell.
