I'm guessing that some of you aren't big baseball fans.I really enjoy though sitting in my chair at night and smoking my pipe while watching a game on TV...Now to my point..I'm wondering what's with all these young players and their full beards. Some of them even grow beards and shave their heads. Are beards a trend in the general population these days ?Three of my good friends have grown beards.Maybe I'm just noticing it more.Anyone here have a beard?

I’ve had either a goatee or a beard most of my life. I’m now letting it grow long.....it’s now 6” plus past my chin.

I've had a mustach since I was 19 and at times a full beard with it. Now I have a goatee with my 'stash. I've never shaved my 'stash since I grew it !

It does seem that they have seen a big pickup in popularity in the past few years too.

I'm not really sure. I'm 35 and shave my head bald and also have a beard. I shave my head because I have a receding hairline and I always said I'd shave it if it got too bad.
I always kept my face shaved until last February. I quit shaving to see what it would look like and now its here to stay. Didnt do it to be "cool."

I've had a beard for 15 years now. My wife and daughter won't let me shave it.
2 years ago my daughter asked me to shave because she has never seen me without a beard. Of course being a doting father I did. As soon as she saw me she realized she made a horrible mistake and said I need to grow it back immediately (maybe even glue the hair back on!).

I'm a bit like roadsdiverged. I shave my head with a razor and have a beard. I've done so since 2014. Now, my girls won't let me shave. Beards are in trend these days. It won't be long before culture changes and beards are for old or uncool people.

My brother-in-law calls all the bearded hipsters in Baltimore "Neckbeards".
I can't grow a full beard. You'd call me Patches McBeardie.

My brother-in-law calls all the bearded hipsters in Baltimore "Neckbeards". "neckbeards" are the unkempt young men who haven't figured out that facial hair on the neck is unattractive. I can't grow a full beard. You'd call me Patches McBeardie. My beard comes in a variety of colors -- grey, red, pale. My wife calls me "Patches the Pirate" whenever I fail to shave.

I had a beard when I visited Ireland in 84,as did Vincent Price, who we met in front of Trinity University. I don't think I saw a single Irish person with a beard on the whole trip. There were about 30 in our group, a dozen men, and probably 6 beards.

Growing a nice beard is something I plan on doing when I retire. It does not really suit my attempt to portray a semi-compentent attorney.

I know lawyers with well-kept beards. I grew my first beard in 1972 and kept it until the Commandant ordered the Coast Guard to go clean shaven. Grew it back in 1993 when I retired. I don’t trim it from August until January. I go for the Santa look from Thanksgiving until Christmas and we’re mostly red shirts and sweaters

imgur.com/Gj30Y6AYup, you can pass for Santa👍👍 I was clean shaven for a few years. I decided to grow a full beard this time the last week of April 2018, it’s less then 5 months ago, always grew a beard fast. Great for the times in my life I needed to be incognito.

He would take time with every person who approached him. I don't know if he was on his way somewhere, or just hanging out. It was a sidewalk that goes by Trinity College on Nassau @ Kildare St.
