Relaxing after a wonderful barbecue, and pork and beans dinner with a bowl of GKCPC Scout in a 2002 Ser Jacopo Delecta Fatta A Mano R1 sandblast Rhodesian with a smooth extension at the shank and a black acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink. Watching the Pirates-Braves game. A fair review of GKCPC Scout, Jim, I enjoy browsing these artisan micro blender Co's websites, I was following the fascinating video on Union Square by puff adder, about C & D . But I will have to Google further it would interest me to know more , about the location & stuff of these " boutique" businesses. I was on another forum for a short while & some enthusiasts were interested in the memorabilia of Thomas Ogdens in Liverpool, but history moves on. Had teatime evening meal, I enjoyed a long smoke of my Great Dixter in my Blakemar Poker in my little Garden earlier , passing the time of day with neighbours & car driver spotting , like people watching. I will jar my bulk HU English Breakfast & try a bowl in maybe my Rattrays Butchers Boy.

I have jarred my Original Warehouse English Breakfast, & I have my Rattray ready & waiting, but I will not jump the gun, I will spend a few bowls enjoying the deeply embedded jar note in my Psyche, before commenting. My Uncle went to Canada after the war with his wife , & he was the pipe smoker in the family he left his little Book club library , the odd pipe & stuff , but also empty tins of Balkan Sobranie, I never got to know him as an adult, he was a corporal in the war, but he never had kids in Canada , fallen poppies.......

Enjoying the first puffs of English Breakfast (HU) , in my Rattray BB No 23 , having my first cup of tea for about a month, I have been more or less abstaining from tea & coffee, it is like a thirsty man coming out of a desert & having his first sip of cool spring water, enjoy you pipe folks.

Almost half way through this bowl of HU Hadde’s Best Irish in a 1975 medium bend sandblasted looking, smooth on the sides yellow Pioneer meer with a black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink. Watching the Pirates-Reds game. M'lady made two wonderful Bronto burgers, so I'm staying in my chair for a bit. Fred Flintstone would have been jealous.

Morning all.
Up at the arse crack of dawn to have Best Buy deliver and install our new washer and dryer. The control panel on these things looks like something out of the space shuttle.
Back at the apartment, finishing up the cup of joe that was interrupted at 7 AM. Off to the Home Depot soon to grab a few odds and ends to finish up the workbench. Then some shelving to install later. Idle hands do the devils work... luckily I don't seem to have to worry about that lately.
Cube Cut & Cav in a Windjammer.

One more smoke this morning before giving up the key board for real work. Esoterica Margate in a deeply rusticated Northern Briars Premier bent apple, Group 4 solidly leaning towards 5. Great looking pipes on the exterior but not too taken by the drilling. I've had to take a file to both I own to open them up somewhat.
