I don't want to talk any politics, but guys, whoo, these local elections are draining my life force. I think I've mentioned before that I work for my local newspaper and our local mayor and county sheriff elections are causing me headache. I love the job, but some of these people are nuts.

Your vote is the most powerful thing you own. Use it well. This thread is more of a PSA so let's not let it get put of hand.

I have never missed an election since 1980.... that was my first year exercising that right... I screwed up in that election, gotten it right since.

Used to have a t-shirt that said, "Don't blame me, I voted for Bill and Opus" with a picture of Bill the Cat and Opus the Penguin. Loved that shirt at times like this.

We should all vote, it will be an early vote for me!! Then those ads will be done until next time. Donβt you just enjoy when politicians attack each otherβs personal lives. You have to pick the one of the lesser two evils!

Political ads are the #1 reason I never watch live tv anymore.

All of the other states have decided to interfere with the election in Texas this year. Hundreds of millions of dollars for ads are making it unbearable.

I voted absentee when in the service and college. There was no internet. I never had to watch a commercial. It was lovely.

EVERYONE should go out and vote. Except for those who are voting for candidates I oppose. You can just stay home and have a nice rest with your pajamas and pipe.

Brewster's millions is a Richard Pryor and John candy film where Richard Pryor's character, Montgomery Brewster, inherits 30 million dollars which he has to spend in 30 days in order to inherit 300 million. But he can't have anything of value at the end of it and nobody can know what he's doing. Part of his plan is to spend it on an ad campaign called 'none of the above'. It's a good film.
