Recently, I bought 6 pipes in great purchase, and I will be darned if they aren't all incredible smokers...I really think that they were distilled down from a larger herd by the previous smoker...this cannot be dumb luck. My only regret is passing on the lesser brands and no names that were in the same lot. Marital fiduciary responsibility informed me to take what came my way and run...I wish I had grabbed the rest, they were there for a reason...first world problems.  |

Since the ones you got are good smokers the rest probably were too.

Since the ones you got are good smokers the rest probably were too. That is what I am thinking...these re all magic smokers....oh well, every dog should happy with the proverbial bone in mouth, rather than grabbing the reflection in the river and losing all. |

Just think about the happy owners of the other lots.
You're as happy as they are, but you plucked the finest pieces, brand-wise and aesthetically. You're sharing the joy, and also keeping the best part for yourself. Win/win  |

Hindsight is always 20/20.
You got a good lot. Plus, you don't know the others would have smoked as good as these. They may not have. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt.
