I remember when you couldn't stop buying it and boxes of it were showing up once a week. Lol Those were the days. I discovered the blend just as stocks of it were drying up and ordered a bunch in a short time period.

Watching a documentary about jack the Ripper. Not sure which documentary you're watching, but the case was solved recently via DNA if I remember correctly. It was one of the suspects at the time, but not one discussed much in previous documentaries.

Just finished a bowl of Sutliff Great Outdoors in my Comoy's Pebbled. Had the fireplace going on the back porch to fight off the 16 degree weather.

Interesting. The error is a big deal in regard to mtDNA, unlike what the publisher implies (i.e., the rest of the sequence matches).

Smoking a very dry (needs to be rehydrated) mix of Sir Walter Raleigh Aromatic and Five Brothers in a Savinelli Dolomiti 320 KS with coffee and water on the side. Sutliff Christmas Spice in a Savinelli 920 KS Deluxe Milano. Again. I am really liking this stuff. I have Christmas Spice on my list for next year. 👍 Why wait? Plenty of cold weather ahead. I am considering buying some more just to make sure I have it. I can see where a lot of people wouldn't like it. To me it's a light aro and the cinnamon is the main flavor, although I do taste other spices and the tobacco.

The cinnamon is the attraction for me.

Half way through this bowl of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a late '80s, early 90s small bend medium brown smooth, unbranded Bjarne pot with a couple small rusticated spots, an amber colored acrylic ferrule and tapered stem in the military mount style. I'll probably finish the day with this smoke.

Stokkybye luxury flake in my Grabow Royalton bulldog. Been away for awhile. I've been glued to my computer researching motorcycles. Haha Looking forward to possibly getting my first bike sometime in the coming year. Anyone give any thought to what their last/first smokes of 2018/2019 will be? I'm trying to kill this tin of So To Bed so I can open something new guilt-free. I will have a bowl of Wilke #10 in my favorite Brakner.

Good morning gentle pipers of the dawn and beyond. For the first baccy today I picked one currently out of rotation, Robert McConnell's Original Oriental, jarred since April 2009. Chosen to incinerate it slowly is the venerable Sasieni Four Dot Burton Ruff-Root blastie that is a keeled and bent billiard. I bought this ruffie new back in April 1978. Still going strong, with no carbon buildup problems at all.

Starting off my smoking day with Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter with a black vulcanite saddle stem. A chilled glass of Simply Apple is my drink. Best durn apple juice made today.
