I have no desire to buy any pipes, I am not in the market, but I clicked on SP’s estates to see if anything fit the bill for our forum member that is looking at pipes for his wife. Just looked at the site and seems price has gone UP to $175.00 !! Nice looking pipe but with no known maker NOT worth that much IMHO ! Check with SP, it may be a typo on the site !

Charlie, that’s a good looking pipe, but expensive for a “ no name “.....JMHO. Might be a fabulous smoker but I never paid over $45.00 for a no name, it is an excellent smoker. I have paid $30.00 for Joh’s, Aldo’s and a few T. Cristiano pipes, all excellent smokers.
Smokingpipes in my opinion is way over priced on this one!

Their response is gracious considering the offer was for 1/6th the asking price. I made an offer to through an app locally, and the guy took it as an insult... he really got pissy and threw an insult... my offer was only based on what I am used to getting. Patience really pays off in the estate market if you are not a true collector or “have to get” pieces for the collection. That guy that got pissy.... his pipes are still on the market several months later.  |

Agreed, if it REALLY spoke to me I might consider $60. But not likely. You can get a custom Don Warren for that much.
