I usually lean toward the Hario V60, but, I do love a good Moka pot coffee as well. So love a good, bright African, especially a Harrar with that blueberry smell and taste

I drink either Lavazza, medalia d’oro or cafe bustelo at home. Outside the house I am more of a dunkin guy over Starbucks. My twin brother always fights me on that. I like Starbucks creations, but I don't really see why a cup of coffee has to be 600 calories.

I like Starbucks creations, but I don't really see why a cup of coffee has to be 600 calories. Or take 15 minutes and three languages to order it. I do like the nitro brew they have but $4.50 for a 12 Oz coffee is not an everyday thing for me

I use a Cuisinart Grind & Brew with whole bean Jumpy Monkey Good Morning Blend. Jumpy Monkey is a small company out of Iowa that donates a portion of profits to help disabled adults. I used to buy it at Sams, but they stopped carrying it, so I buy direct, 10 pounds at a time. My doc told me to use heavy cream as opposed to other creamers, so I follow his orders. Your doctor is a smart man and a notch above average. You should keep him.

For quite awhile, I bought from Farmer Brothers Coffee.. (West Coast Hotel and Restaurant suppliers), but they stopped selling from the warehouse to consumer.
We generally drink Yuban... not very picky.

I haven't tried this method and keep meaning to do so. This guy runs a pretty successful chuck wagon business and I know has at least one cook book. Has anyone tried this before? I first read about this method as a teenager, in a John Geirach book ("Trout Bum", "Even Brook Trout Get the Blues", "Sex, Death and Fly Fishing" etc). I've made coffee this way every time I've woken up on a camping trip, and often while taking a break from harassing trout in mid-afternoon (I fish the Cascades and Olympics, it can be cold and damp any time of year). 1. It works as advertised, which always surprises people the first time they see it. No grounds unless you get the last cup (you gotta plan on dumping the last little bit where all the grounds are). 2. It's always been tasty coffee, but I always attributed that to the setting and/or a real need for hot rich coffee. It would be interesting to try a side by side comparison with drip or French press coffee in my backyard!

I'm not a big coffee fan. It's not something I'd typically keep in the house. For my money,Starbucks is about the worst(I've never yet had good service in one!). For an early morning starter the coffee at Greggs and MickyD or the Lavazza at Weatherspoons pub chain give good flavour and strength as well as bang for the buck...but I'd much rather have a cup of tea!

Randy Travis and I drink Maxwell House. "I'm going back to a better class of loser This up-town living's really got me down I need friends who don't pay their bills on home computers And who buy their coffee beans already groundYou think it's disgraceful that they drink three-dollar wine But a better class of loser suits me fine." --Randy Travis "Better Class of Loser" Sorry--I haven't posted in a few days and had an irresistible urge to mess with you guys.

I didn't drink coffee at all until I was 40. Then a guy brought an expresso machine to work and I drank 10 cups it was so good. Favorite coffee is work coffee, Folgers in a Bunn.

Trader Joe's coffee served in my shack in the morning. Their Ethiopian and Breakfast Blend are both quite excellent. Both are also whole bean and require a little grinder action. My choice for Half & Half is plant based Ripple I score at Kroger - All the flavor as dairy based H&H without any sugar.

Mostly my coffee is made in a Nissan insulated press pot. Aroma Coffee Roasters of Santa Fe Black Lightning beans ground at home.
Sometimes, Cafe Bustello or Lavazza in a mocha pot or Mehemet Effendi Turkish in a cezve.
In town (Taos), I frequent independent coffee houses. There is a Star$$$$s housed within a supermarket but I avoid them. I prefer "Koko's Coffee House" run by an Austrian immigrant lady who bakes the most delicious pastries.

I’m with you....Dunkin Donuts coffee outside the house👍👍. I don’t enjoy Starbucks, I find most blends bitter or burnt. Oh do I miss 7-11 coffee from NY!!! I hate Starbucks, and I agree with your thoughts on the taste of their coffee. A very popular coffee down here is Community Coffee. They have a few coffee houses called "CC's." I will always chose them over Starbucks. But, if we had a Dunkin Donuts down here, things might be different. I really enjoy their coffee, but I still prefer Community at home.

If you don't care for Starbucks you can always order the blend you want. I was on a Komodo Dragon kick for a while and that is some good stuff but they can keep Pikes Place. I also don't care for Duncan or Mickey ya ya coffee. I have been drinking Seattles Best owned by Starbucks 12oz of beans is 4.80 at Kroger. For canned coffee I don't go any lower than Yuban the back story there is they bought Arbuckles the coffee that won the west.

PS Dunkin Donuts coffee is available in large bags at Costco 👍👍

Duncan coffee is only the same if it's brewed in a Bunn.

Duncan coffee is only the same if it's brewed in a Bunn. I have a Black & Decker coffee maker I bought from Lowe's many years ago while actually shopping for plumbing supplies to fix a toilet. A Bunn you say?

Plus, the regular Dunkin is too light for Jessica. So, we compromise with the Cafe' Special blend, which is a medium-dark roast.

I use a Cuisinart coffee maker with unbleached paper filters, with a metal mesh insert as a backup in case I run out of Melittas. That's what I have too! Great coffee maker. Highly recommended.

It looks like Walmart carries this "Community Coffee" many of you are using … I'll see about grabbing a bag. If it's not here locally, Amazon appears to have it also.

SF Bay Area place, "Peet's" French Roast is the best I've ever had. I buy the beans and grind them at home, brew it up in a French Press. When I'm lazy, I'll make instant Nescafe Dark Roast. Hell, yeah. That and Peet's Italian roasts are my two go-to blends for espresso. I drink two cappuccinos in the morning (cappuccini?) , an espresso or Americano later in the day. I roasted my own for a few years when I was not near a Peet's. Major Dickason is wife's favorite, auto-drip. I like medium light blends in a press pot, but dark roasts for espresso. Oddly, I detest Ethiopian.

It's one of those regional food items that is synonymous with its broad category. Growing up down here, when you said "coffee," it was assumed you meant Community Coffee.

Is CC one with Chicory? When I dated a gal from NO I fell in love also with the coffee I first had in "The (French) Quarter". So I bought a cold water extractor and a bunch of chicory blends. Made a decent cup back in NYC. That was only 40 years ago.
