I am assuming it is straight Virginia, which seems to be bit much for me. Just seems to be too much of one thing, lol. Blended with something else I think I would like it better. My friend just sent a sample, so I just have a dab of it, really. It isn't really strong, I didn't get tongue bite or anything like that. I suspect hubby won't be real crazy about it, lol.

Now I'm smoking "Mountaineer" which is a specialty blend of Squire Tobacconist, where my pipe club meets. It's an aromatic and it seems to burn really well, hardly any relights. I'm smoking it in my MM bent amber stem Diplomat.

G'weekend folks, may you have a happy, healthy & prosperous New Year, may you have your pipe dreams fulfilled & be blessed with the pipe you have always wanted & a plentiful supply of fine tobacco. I tried a few whiffs of a cigar after walking Pop & feeding us , but I still cannot taste the cigar, but I feel I have got over the worst of this winter bug, perhaps, enjoy the holiday, bye.

Turned in early last night, feel pretty skippy this morning with the batteries recharged. Smoking Mac Baren Vanilla Cream in a 1978 Peterson 307 System Star sans the condenser, drinking Trader Joe's coffee. Strong winds this morning, rain expected here shortly. Had a good week outside so may just watch and listen to some games indoors today, clean a couple pipes and make pizza for supper.

Thanks. I bought these on a sale lark, figured they couldn't be all bad if they were straight Va. I'll put them in the back of the cellar for a long snooze.

If you like straight VA you should enjoy this. In a few years when I am a matured smoker I may appreciate it more, so I'm gonna let my dab rest for awhile

Good evening from Greece, we are few hours before the New Year's Eve here in Athens and we make the final preparations for the tonight's dinner plus the celebration when the time passes the 12:00 o'clock [more for this in a future post] but as i watching the latest news my eye caught that in a country next to Greece in the streets there are banners like this: plus video showing Santa Claus to be arrested in the middle of the road and forced to embrace a new religion and public comment from religion leaders that New Year's Eve must not celebrate but to condemn it, it is sin and a contamination, it's Devilish etc. To that mental illness and stupidity i could say a lot but tonight it's a Holy Day so i will answer like this: Christmas and Santa Claus are welcome to our Greek houses as the sign outside to my door shows for visitors and people that passing outside and tonight not only we will have a great feast eating pork, drinking alcohol, playing cards etc but we will also smoke our new gifts. This is my last 2016 post, i must leave you to help for the preparations, see you at 2017. I wish to you all Happy New Year with good health, prosperity, family happiness and the new year to be full of new pipes and tobaccos!

G'evening gents, some liquid medicine to cure or kill me of this winter bug, & some Holiday souvenirs & verse of the Southern sun....see Ya' this Hogmanay... THE isles of Greece! the isles of Greece Where burning Sappho loved and sung, Where grew the arts of war and peace, Where Delos rose, and Phoebus sprung! Eternal summer gilds them yet, But all, except their sun, is set.
