USPS really did a number on this one today. Called the retailer and they want me to send the crushed cans back its was Sextant, Pennington Gap, Cross eyed cricket, and Barbary Coast...

Oh sweet mother of G_D, that’s horrific! On the bright side, the pipe cleaners look like they’re fine

That’s a bummer man! As well as a test of patience, that Sextant is nice though. Can’t speak on the rest but I hope that all gets straightened out quickly.

Damn!!! Thats sucks! It looks like they back over it a few times and decided it wasn't damaged enough so they used it as a soccer ball! Hopefully they will make it right for you.

That’s just ridiculous

There is so much I could say about the short comings of the USPS but I have decided to take the “High Road”, so in my best Southern accent, “ I do declare!”. 🤔

I have all my orders shipped to work, since we are a freight company anything that comes in looking like it possibly has concealed damage, is noted in the "exceptions" on shipments requiring a signature. One day I got back to the terminal kind of excited that my shipment had posted as delivered...nothing in the office, but I decided to check the streetside mailbox and someone had punched the cardboard box into the mailbox to make it fit...had I not got the alerts, it would have sat there all weekend, with dozens of Amazon employees drifting by, theirs for the taking. This delivery was made after the initial mail delivery of the day that was dropped in the office, so some scrub punched it into the box....You could see that it was knuckle-punched.....fortunately it wasn't busted. www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/estate/denmark/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=228690

I had a box from SP that looked about half way to that one. They let me keep the squished ones and sent me replacements. Hope that is your result. Just start smokin the "damaged" tobacco and cellar the replacements.

I am sorry, but doesn't one have to go out of their way to damage tobacco tins that severely?? I mean, look at that Pennington Gap!

That sucks. I had a package with some damage to the box and my mailman waited for me to open it to be sure the contents weren't damaged. I like this new kid, when he started the route he asked where I wanted the packages placed and if he could put the mail with them and has been a pleasant surprise since he took over.

Sometimes my mailman can be a Richard but that is ridiculous. I would complain, a lot

Just leave it to our USPS, raising prices for crushing more packages lately!! You know that tobacco won’t be wasted back at the farm👍
Good luck with your replacement order.

I can hear the forklift driver now, "The pallet jump right out in front of me!" "Break peddle?"

Holy crap that's despicable. To be fair, there wasn't much protection around the items. As for the pipe cleaners, Scott W... Brilliant

Wow, I've never seen anything that bad. I've never had a problem with USPS. I actually find them to be more reliable than any other carrier today. I wouldn't have said that 5 years ago, but I have had recent issues with FedEx and UPS. That's horrible. Shipment should be insured up to 500 though. And, at least yours arrived!
