Mine? Password generator. I noticed you over at PSF as a different randomly generated sequence. GAWKq something I believe. I would add that generator is generating VERY weak passwords. Lol. I could crack that password in a second. When I lived in Las Vegas working in IT, true story. I cracked a few passwords within 6-8 characters like your username in times no longer than 1.5 seconds. Only had to run through a few million times. This brings me to a public service announcement of sorts. Passwords are no longer safe unless they look a lot like this: GUnFyjwjBih719!&?39.&!:8!/&haubbibiBhHgfjGgUhVjhb))8? My passwords are generally 12 to 16 characters long, includes some caps and some numbers. Where some people make big mistakes are shorter passwords that are related somehow to their user names.

I'm not sure I agree 100 percent on your police work there Lou.
Yah?
Yah. I think that vehicle probably had dealer plates. DLR?
Oh..., Jeez.
Yah. Say, Lou, ya hear the one about the guy who couldn't afford personalized plates, so he went and changed his name to J2L4685?
Yah. That's a good one.
Yah.

I had a violent life. Billy the Klubb was a name I earned when I lived in Las Vegas. A Nazi Skinhead had come up behind me and smacked me in the right side of my face with a sawed off handle end of an aluminum bat. When I hit the ground he beat me with it for a bit. Broke some of my teeth pretty good and left me with some decent bruising. Nothing too serious. I ended up running into him later and took him down. I also took his club and returned his kindness. I had that club for years until I met my wife. I haven't been violent for a little over ten years now. I hold onto the name to remind me where I've been, what I've done, and that I'm not longer there.

Mine is a made up name Pete Guy that I have used for many years. Most folks thinks it is because of my love of Peterson pipes - which doesn't exist. My new name is going to be PipeVulture because I search the obituaries for pictures with a pipe.

Xuan and I are on our sixth doggie. One was named Bobo. She was deaf and clung to me every day since we got her when she was poor. When I first became disabled and home all day she was literally on my arm minute by minute. When we put her to sleep at 16 I still have my moments of regret, but worse (back then) was that I lost the creature that loved me and needed me. After she was gone I would think myself to sleep, often in tears, mentally searching the cosmos for her. In one of my other posts I mentioned writing stories of our doggies as if they were Hogan's Heroes, tunneling under here to escape Sergeant Xuan. After Bobo was gone, i mostly quit, but did try writing about Starship Commander Cosmic Bobo cruising the universe looking for love. Thus the name CosmicBobo

When you go heaven all your lost socks, screwdrivers and dogs are waiting for you. Dogs are truly the only animal deemed good enough to be mans best friend every dog owner knows this.

Haebar was a password that was issued to me back in the mid-90's that I could never forget. So when I decided to join a forum or website many years ago, all I could think of for a username was Haebar, so I used it thinking that I could always go back and change it. Not so! So, in order to maintain consistency, I continued to use the name for most logins. So mine is a random array of letters that came to be my username. Interestingly enough, googling the word Haebar, I found that it was a Japanese military hospital during WWII. It is infamous in history as the place where many Japanese nurses jumped off a cliff to their deaths rather than become prisoners to the American forces. Also, there is a group of friends in New England that call themselves HAE for "Half Assed Expeditions". They get together every year of so to go on outrageously extreme winter backpacking trips in the Appalachian mountains. They are known to partake of the weed and their name for one of the hand rolled cigarettes is a "HAEbar". Go figure...

Growing up one of my nicknames was "Danno" as in "bookem' Danno!" from the ORIGINAL Hawaii Five-O. 44 was my number back in my short lived "glory days" of playing sports in junior and high school.

These threads are always fun.
I moved to Nevada in 1995 and rode to work with my boss at the time. He told me about 'Nevada Blue', the sky that we normally have. Brilliant blue, huge sky. So, when the internet arrived at my house, I chose Nevadablue as my screen name. The sky in this pic from last winter is an example of 'nevada blue'.

i decided to bump this post because we have new members and they might like to join in.
I started the thread to explain my original username: trapperhoney. I've since changed to Lady Margaret. Margaret is my first name and partly the reason I started smoking a pipe, as I was named after my great-grandmother, who was named after her grandmother, and i inherited the portrait:

I would like to Congratulate you on inheriting both you Grandmothers name and her great choice of smoking implements. Also,I would add that it is with much relief that You are much Better Looking than your namesake.Otherwise, her portrait would have hung in the front parlor for all to see.

I am a playwright (dramatist.) Anything else I write isn't a play... so, it's a "twist"... hence, "Dramatwist."

It's me name. You get tired of usernames you want being already taken, so you go to, 'I know one that's not taken!' Folks can abbreviate it Sim if they don't want to figure out how to spell it, or just say Dave
