A name hung on me during many years smoking a pipe at work. That's my story...Their story was that it's because I was so vocal..Something to do with hot air.

only one I've ever used since we got 1st computer in '01. Means just that I'm nobody important in any way. Just an old fart of 77 who enjoys smoking a pipe & infrequent cigar (outside). I've just never been one to hide where I live or where I was borned (or according to some.....hatched)! Rochester, NY)
I'm erevelant (sp) in any case.
Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY.

I've broken almost as many bones as Evel Knevel (?) cold fronts are a constant reminder. Sloppy phonics for these old bones.

I don't know about anyone else, but this is class. It gives a little more insight into the people here and also how we think.

Simple. I live in Pennsylvania and I'm a pipe guy. Not really creative but spot on. Just keeping it simple.

The family historian, my dearly departed Aunt Ruby showed me some pictures circa 1870 of a hardass looking guy with a Sharps rifle.."who is that" I asked..."that is your great grandfather he was a trailboss, knucklehead!...the gal was old school...really didn't mince words.
Fast forward to 1997 if I recall right....El Nino struck Northern California hard, it was a friggin mess with high tides and torrential rainfall, the water had nowhere to go, several of the freeways were flooded around the bay area. I had years of driving in the bay area under my belt so I knew all the roads...on my graveyard run there was a cacophany of voices on the CB as truckers were pissed that they were stalled with their loads.
I keyed up on the mic and told them to follow me, some probably questioned their judgement as I led a convoy through scores of neighborhoods...probably 50 trucks or so.... above the encroaching waterlines, and what appeared initially to be dead end runs...I got them all to eastbound and down I-80 and one guy said as he headed east..."thank you Trailboss!"
If the shoe fits, I reckon...beats being called asshole, a common name I am sure when I am in other's way.

My name is Sam Wolf and some people call me the ‘Wolfman’. I thought it more appropriate than some of the names my first wife called me.
