I’m not buying them to carry, just to collect. But it would be better than nothing. My minimum for carry is considerably more firepower than one of these cuties.😉

On the hunt for the very scarce snub variant of the Safety Hammerless. How about a couple more pictures from different angles, some of the action open?

That Rossi looks a LOT like my S&W M60 Pro 3” 357. They can call the frame whatever they like but 357s are too hot for a steady diet of 357s. Fortunately I only wanted it for the 38 Spcl with which it performs nicely.

I mostly shoot standard loads in it and keep it loaded with +P fodder.

No Bisleys in that tranch. I'm sticking by my earlier evaluation, anyway. (I wouldn't really know a Bisley if I saw it.)

That’s a Bisley on Pancho’s belt, a 45 Colt in that case. Note the very different grip-frame from the Single Action Army

Pancho was a pretty cruel scumbag, a friend of mines grandmother recounted the heinous things he did when she was a little girl.

Pershing invaded Mexico to get him. Couldn’t find him. Charlie: Be careful trusting Carancistas. For me, that expedition into Mexico was a training mission for the US Army. It was clear to the General Staff that war in Europe was inevitable and the USA might get sucked into it. So, preparation was called for. The last conflict was Cuba and Philippines. Weapons and tactics had improved some and there is nothing like a small war for practice.

If it really was a “training mission” it failed big-time. No similarity in geography to Flanders Field and they couldn’t even close with their training partner.
