This is a very generous offer. A month ago, I provided a collection of clay pipes at the CPCC monthly meeting. These were pipes that were used in the blending seminar at the Chicago Pipe Show.
Therefore, please don't register CPCC for this offer. Let other pipe clubs enjoy this offer.

They came today in a mountain of sawdust...all intact, the Arizona pipe club will have it's first slow smoke competition soon!

Nice collection of clay pipes...mine smokes hot as hell and I have to hold it by the stem to keep my fingers intact. Painted the end of the stem to keep lips from sticking to the clay.

Good deal. Enjoy the bounty. It doesn't look too elegant, but a rubber pipe bit can be slid up the stem to aide the grip and act as a heat shield.

Well I guess I have to get my clays out and coat the bits. These came from Condorlover1 a couple of years ago. I think they are English made can't be certain, there is no markings.

Quality of the clay is a determining factor. I've only had clays that were in pipe lots when I use to shop eBay. That may account for my experience, but I don't mean to take away from the gifted pipes. It's a fine gesture.

Yo trai
Thanks for this headsup. I did see this Markem offer on the UPCA Facebook page and signed Christopher Morley's PC up. The sawdust/clay pipes arrived yesterday and August's meeting will give members a treat. The bowl size is about a Group1 or 2, which is my preferred size for club meetings when I sample numerous blends. Interestingly, the US agent who has moved to upstate NY was from this area and was a Morley's member back then.

I literally saw Markus' post just prior to the clock striking 12...we were the last pipe club in.
