Everclear gave a friend of mine from the 70's income for life after she tried to use it for a flaming drink near a flame. She was gorgeous, from the left side anyway. Back in the seventies, my brother used Everclear in place of water in his acrylic? Bong....the Everclear ate the glue from the base, dumping bong water on his lap. Considering the flammability of the product, he was lucky to just get wet...but it made me wonder..."What in the hell does that do to your gut?" The 70's was a wild and wooly time. That is an understatement! Maybe the tail end of the 60's was even worse. I remember that people would try anything to get high. I specifically remember my cousin bringing a can of "Vicks pillow spray" to summer camp for the purpose of getting high. He would spray it heavily into a rag and huff it......he aint right to this day

I had friends who, during a drought, tried smoking frakensence and myrrh. They also smoked Marlboros. They didn't care that they coughed up soot for days. I don't know whatever happened to them, but I I doubt that it was good.

I like Everclear as a good sipping whiskey, if I want a Petey smoky taste, after cleaning my Irish pipes, I use the pipe cleaners as swizzle sticks. $20.00 for 750 ml Everclear gave a friend of mine from the 70's income for life after she tried to use it for a flaming drink near a flame. She was gorgeous, from the left side anyway. That made me LOL....unless its true. But it still did.

100% true. And not something to laugh about. Sorry for her!!! She had a great attitude about it. The distillery had to pay for her to travel all over the country for 5 years teaching bartenders the dangers of pure alcohol. One look at her was enough to make a believer out of anyone. Her entire right side was just horrible scars. I got to talk to her for about an hour and I had a serious crush on her left side. She was an amazing person.
