Just home from a mind-numbing five hour drive from my friend's. Found a nice little surprise waiting for me.
Amphora: Kentucky Amphora: Special Reserve Cavendish Tabac Manil: La Brumeuse
All new to me. I think I'll relax with a bowl of the Kentucky before bed.

That's one of those movies that if I catch it on tv, I end up forgetting what I was doing and watch it. Yeah, it's one I always want to see again. My wife can't pass up Twister, Volcano, Dantes Peak and Outbreak. I have seen way too much of those and not enough good movies. Lol Those early 90s disaster movies really got outta control at one point.

Not much. On cup of coffee #3, sitting out back listening to the woods wake up, watching Jagger eye ball some squirrels and wondering about life's mysteries. Also wishing I liked the shape of the Comoy's Midnight line at smoking pipes, because that black and dark blue really does it for me. Just not the shapes

Mernin patchers!
Started off with some Kentucky Bird in a Rob Roy. Having another lovely rainy start to the day. So, loading up some Ol’ Joe Blue in the Baraccini Churchwarden to go with the remainder of my coffee while enjoying this quiet rainy Sunday.
Hope y’all are having a nice weekend!

My first pipe of the day is in honor of the U.S. Coast Guard's 229th Birthday. Loaded my USCG Meerschaum with some Senior Chief, a private blend made for me by The Country Squire.

Sitting in the back garden with a bowl of tobacco that was sent to me by a patch member, but I forgot to label it so I've no idea what it is. It's nice, whatever it is. It was in my cobbit shire.
Now I'm smoking some Rattray bagpiper's dream in my mm country gentleman.

Good afternoon. My first pipe of the day is C&D Opening Night in a Basil Meadows long shank brandy with a brass band and cumberland stem. This is the first time smoking this since it spent a few hours baking last Saturday. The most noticeable change is the red VA tanginess is much more prevalent in every puff.

I had no idea how vital they are to us (US). God bless those men and women.

I'm back on a Prince Albert kick. This happens every once in a while. I smoke 2 - 3 bowls a day, and lately at least one of those has been Prince Albert. I smoke it heavily for a couple of months, get bored, and go on to something else. Then I have an urge to break it out again and the cycle starts over.
