Here in The hottest part of Arizona our high today was 92 with 33% humidity, and it cools down nicely at night. We might have a few triple digit days ahead of us, but the death rattle to mister heat is taking place.... looking forward to a great winter season.

It's pretty warm today, but the humidity is making it unbearable. Typical of this time of year.

First time I have ever seen 50 year old azalea bushes (roots go pretty deep) wilting from the heat and lack of moisture.

We had 17 inches of rain in September. It feels like it is still hanging in the air.

There just is not a breeze at all to help cool Ron and me down. It feels like breathing the same air for a week.

It has been crazy windy the last week or so in SW Kansas. Maybe that explains all the wind turbines in these parts.

We hit 90 here today and that set a record for the hottest day ever recorded for October in this area. Two more days of the 80's and we'll have a high of 54 Friday.

71 this morning with a heavy dew still not a breath of air even the willow tree leaves are not moving. With the shorter days it has not been getting as hot, not to long ago we were staring the mornings in 80's.

You all have my sympathy.
It was a hot summer and a very warm September here, too. Thankfully, moderating now with cool nights in the 40s.

In Northern California the days are cooling down. In the 70's. May go up to the 80's again in October but we are definitely on the downhill side of Summer. I don't think there'll be any more 100 degree days. And no fires. That makes for a good Summer.

60 now. Overcast, fixing to rain, some spurting drops. This is the way I likes it.
