They don't carry Diawa fishing stuff, they only carry Nike shoes or Under Armor same as Nike. In Houston we have Academy with much lower prices for the same products. I don't hate Dicks Sports I just don't go there. I could care less about a AR buy a FAL or go home Rambo want to be. There are far better tactical weapons out there than a AR. I would buy a AR but I don't have a pitbull and I did not marry my sister or enough broken stuff to stack around my trailer with tires on the roof. YMMV You are being so silly tonight, Sean.đ€Ą

Since I cannot do physical activities, I have no reason to ever go back in one.

As do my son's, who are military, cop and firefighter? I'm going to assume this post was an attempt at humor, and see if I can get in the spirit of things and add some smiley emojis. đđ
đđ There. That's better.

I have 3.2 ARs and I would trade them in a New York minute for a Spoon Handled Manlicher in 6.5mm. It would look so much better hanging on the wall. đđ€ đ

Nope you chose to be offended that's what you do. Nobody asked you to be offended and the comment was not directed at you but you chose to be offended anyway. Any attempt at humor sure beats being offended.

ARs can be awesome. I enjoy my bolt action rifles more, but enjoy shooting ARs too.

Any attempt at humor sure beats being offended. You've missed the whole point. I'm not offended. I was never offended. I was laughing at your sour, hateful, stereotyping that makes no sense and has no logical basis in the real world. You just keep snarling and snapping. I got my entertainment out of it, I'll move on now and leave you to your bellyache. I've grown bored with it. đ

Geez Sean, lighten up. You seem intent on aggravating some good people. Why so fractious?

Sean youâre my contrary man, you bring different view points and I really like some, like Don said lighten up, youâre our podner not your adversary , I hope you take this the good way, too much f#@king strife in this world for Buds to get crossed up.

When ours twin girls were 4. Their brother who was 8 played soccer. The field was on a hill. It looked down to a shopping area. Once during a game. In their church voices, NOT! The both yelled âlook at those big Dickâsâ I think the game was forgotten by all for a few moments. The girls just turned 21 in November. Folks still like to remind them of the day they paused the soccer game.

I'll admit it... I like Dick's. đ
Really though, they've taken care of me over the years. I do tend to think of them more as a "sporting goods" shop than a "sportsmans" shop though. For fishing and hunting needs, I usually go elsewhere... not to prove any point, but simply because the selection is better.
Regarding ARs... meh. I'm pretty sure I could paint a toaster black and market it with the word "tactical", and sell the hell out of them to a certain demographic. I wouldn't feel the need to use one myself though, my normal looking toaster does just as good of a job. I also wouldn't see a reason to be angry at a store for not selling my decorative black toaster.

Is âassault by rifleâ a âsportâ? What about the words âassault rifleâ say âsportsmanâ? Are the assaulted also âsportsmenâ or just on the wrong end of the hail of bullets, ie. âpreyâ or âvictimâ. Where are the rules to the sport of assault rifling codified? Is there a commissioner? Are the guns signed by famous assaulters?

And most importantly, what's the season? You don't want to accidentally be a poacher...

I never been to Dick's
Probably never will.
Don't own and AR. Don't want one. Never liked them. Thought they killed too many of our soldiers. Should have stuck with the M14, M2 Carbine, and the Grease Gun.
Don't own an AK but did have an SKS until it was stolen.
Also owned a Garand and a '03 Springfield.
Now it is just me and a K98 Mauser pattern Polish veteran of the Spanish Civil War.
