Dick's is on my boycott list. My boycott list is large and growing every day. Makes shopping very difficult. Sometimes, I do break down and go to one of those stores because they have been so effective at using the government to strongarm all their competition. It sucks and makes life difficult. Sometimes it puts me at odds with friends, family and coworkers on simple stuff such as were to eat lunch. At the end of the day, I stand by my convictions. Just my two cents.

I'm glad I'm not alone in my feelings about Dicks...the wife and I stood by the knife counter long enough for me to make a knife before anyone stopped by to wait on us, yet once I picked out a knife he eyeballed us all the way to the checkout like we were going to steel it...
on top of that, the girl at the checkout never stopped talking to a co-worker as she waited on us; not even a "thank you"...our first and last trip to DICKS!!
