Just when I think I am closing in on finalizing the cellar, the damn list starts to grow again. Frankly, my cellar is ridiculous. So, if the apocalypse ever comes, and they take away our hobby, I've got more than myself covered for life.

As of this moment, this blend is the one I can see having a full two gallon flip-top jar sitting on my shop bench at all times. Utilitarian and completely reliable in every way possible, as well as just plain delicious.

I’m thinking that Ernie doesn’t heavily top anything. I smoked some Aromatic #7 last evening. The pouch note smells like there might be heavy topping, but there is no indication in the smoking. |

Ernie is doing great things over there! I havent smoked a Watch City blend that I've thought was just "ok," and I really need to pick up some more variety.
I missed out on Rouxgaroux, but that's fine, I have enough Old Dominion to get me through. (Also 558, simply red, r&b).

It's got a little sump' sump'n that blow the other two away, IMO. It's the best OTC style Burley blend I've ever had. It doesn't say it's topped, but Ernie must've added a wee dram of magic in there. It's all tobacco, but has a hint of, well, magic. |

Not this stuff. I haven't PURPOSEFULLY smoked an aro in quite awhile, and I wouldn't say this stuff exactly qualifies as an aro. It's magic. I've been on quite a Burley kick lately, with my stoved Match RR, the Uhle's 00 you sent me, Five Brothers, etc. This crumb cut is at the top of the list now. |
