Finished my half-bowl of St. Bruno Flake and went right to a baby briar bowl of blind date Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. - Brown Pigtail Sweet Brandy/Sweet Rum/Sweet/Toffee Brown/Extra Sweet Brown (hellifIknow4sure?... not really sure yet which exactly), compliments of Stan a/k/a Motto. Thanks to his generous sample, I will be ordering more when I nail it down. No bitterness or tongue burn at all as one might expect - each puff is a delightful surprise. It has a wonderful strong flavor n nic profile, yet very smooth w/sweet backdrop w/mild cigar note and nice burn after a 30 minute dry time. NOT an aro but a pure Virginia with CHARACTER, grace, and Daniel Boone gravitas! A special stout smoke with lots of sweet pleasure! Thanks again to Stan for introducing me to another winner! The man knows what's good! ...damn good the more down the bowl you go!!! Makes for a good flavorful nic chew, and ground down extra-fine top-notch snuff! 5 Stars! Hi, glad you enjoyed it, the rope & pigtail were from Glynn's shop, what is in a name, it was the best of traditional pipe tobacco, without airs or graces, on ship or in mine , an old favourite. Lunted with an MM pipe in a raging storm around the park to the medics, wasted my time, went to angling shop & some banter with the lads ,lunted home & the road blocked with a tree falling, had soup in a sportcentre, specialising in disabled sport, got home & had a nap. Now having half brown Irish twist & half Clan, in a Rattray long rustic Butchers boy, with traditional hymns on US internet radio, spring water on the table. Bye.

Morning gents.
Busy week here... though that seems to be the norm lately. In the process of tearing out the first floor bathroom. As usual, a simple project always turns a bit more complex when you start to open up walls, etc. Not a big deal, but it adds time.
Fire out back planned tonight. With highs in the 70's today, should make for great backyard weather this evening.
Some St. Claude tobacco that was gifted to me in a Scottie.
