Clarity is, I've came too far to be feeling this miserable. I blame no one but myself for that because I held on when I should have let go. 'Tis life. Congrats on your 2 1/2. I'll give you credit for trying to make things work. It takes a real man to take a beating and keep trying but there is no shame for walking away after realizing it won't change. |

scrooge I've read what you wrote to me quite a few times lately. Same with words from a few others. Those words have helped me a lot through this rough time. There are some really amazing people here.

I have family that I had to walk away from because of the way they treated me. My own mother got mad at me over something I had nothing to do with and told me I was nothing but a drunk. I was 6 years sober at the time and was the closest I ever came to drinking again. As she told me my entire life, she loved me but didn't like me and I told her the same and that I wouldn't see her again. It broke my heart but I couldn't deal with it anymore. |

I know that feeling..My mother has passed on now..My relationship with her was never good..I never had the feeling that she wanted me for a son.I never let it effect my life though. |

No more than I know about you, I know this much...you work hard and do so willingly...you're a thoughtful person, and as such ,you have many friends here...and God loves you , because he's seen to it that Yorktown is on sale at S.P.COM right here at the holidays!

Legend you are always welcome as a friend, not a patch monitor. I have no need of such things, though I always try to abide by the rules in another's house. I am one of the most pleasant people to be around; Smokes are always offered as well as spirits and great conversation, according to the flow of the moment.. PS I know you are joking... |
