Due to some personal things I'm not going to be in here as much. I need to take care of myself before things get worse. Although, I dont know how they possibly could.

Brother, I'm sorry to hear things have gotten as bad as they appear to be. I hope that you manage to come through this. You've conquered so much in your life and overcome so many things, so I hope that this will be no different.

I don't plan on disappearing, I just need to use my spare time to slowly fix myself, and then some other things in life. It's all upside down and scrambled and I'm in a bad place right now.
Don't worry my fellow non-drinking alcoholics, I have not fell off the wagon, and I wont. Nothing is worth going back down that dark path
I will be alright, I know that for certain. It's going to take time and a lot of work. But I know I can do it and will come out stronger.

It sounds strange, but families like the one we have here can come to feel as warm and real as "real" family...as many have said ,you are important to us ,and in truth ,you mean as much or more to me than some who tug at my sleeve in person each day.

Thanks guys. It's just life and no matter what I do, I'm dealt the crappiest hand possible. I make the best of it, but I still lose. Once in a while, when I get a good hand and think "it's about time," someone cheats and I still lose.
This is apparently the normal way my life goes. Does it have to? Nope. Do I allow it? Yes I do. Why do I? No clue, and that's why I changed drs and am going to therapy more often.
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.
