Halloween themed candied popcorn? Nope, crisps (chips to you), although they're more a corn snack, so I'm not sure what you call that. The pickled onion flavoured ones are one of the best crisps out there. Mouth watering as I write this.

We call it junk food, chips are delightful stuff. Yes, they are enjoyable. The one snack food I cannot resist. Carbs, salt and vegetable oil. Good for hot weather.

I see that Monster Munch is made by Walker, who also makes the slightly addictive Prawn Cocktail chips. I wish that Walker products were available here at normal chip prices instead of highly inflated prices on Amazon. They have a huge catalog of products that I would like to try.

Lunch was a sandwich of Boar's head Beef Bologna, extra sharp cheddar cheese, with a large pile of organic Romaine lettuce and Zartrain's Cajun Mustard on sourdough whole wheat toast. A pint of low sodium V-8 Juice. Now running on all cylinders.

Kloesse & wienerschitzle. I love schnitzel. An elderly neighbor, a German lady, made Jaeger Schnitzel mit rotkohl und Spätzle for my birthday once. That was the last birthday dinner I had. Long ago.

Left over steak with a freshly baked Idaho Russet and steamed organic Swiss Chard. THe tater was dressed with sour cream and butter and went down like manna from Heaven. The steak, I ate a few bites and gave it to the dog. I am losing my taste for red meat. An age thing I guess.

Tikka vegetables from Trader Joe’s. It’s just a pouch of veggies in a nice Indian sauce. Probably should be a side dish with rice but I like them by themselves.
