That pipe looks great. 100g Rattrays Old Gowrie. 1 tin HH Rustica 3 pouches of Dan Salty Dogs 3 pouches Drexel VI. I Had to open and jar it all up. A bit on the dry side. Going to throw a button in for a few days before I cellar it. Bag of bristled pipe cleaners Nice score, the Salty dog can be tough to get.

Received my order from KBV. Tried out the Mountains of Madness. Delicious. Will be trying out the Sakura and Kings Ransom soon. Too bad it's $13 an ounce. Can't figure that one out. Does he grow his tobacco in rented space in central Manhattan? In any case, his tobaccos are supposed to be well aged.

Sakura just went out of stock as well, as did King's Ransom. I wonder how often he replenishes.

About the price of Escudo, minus the shipping.

The price also drops the more you buy. 1 pound of Sakura amounted to $6/ounce.

You have issues, Duane!
Good issues, nonetheless.
That is pretty cool to find a line that scratches that itch, maybe someday I will cull the herd and become a true collector instead of an accumulator of pipes. I now know what I seem to gravitate to, I just lack the time. That will change though.

After decades of buying everything, I've managed to cut it back to cobs, that Savinelli shape, Bruce Weaver pieces, and pipes by our own Jason (cramps).👍 The recent Dunhill buy was a fluke, I just love huge pipes.😁

One more for the collection. A pre-70s, four digit 9004. This brings the total to 34. Now if Dunhills only smoked worth their inflated price. And how many did you throw out before you settled on these 34? I have never been disappointed in a Radice. Just say'n. 😈😉

Threw out three Dunhills. As for the Savinellis in the photo, I've only ever paid more than $30 for four of them and each exceeds most pipes I've smoked.👍

Boy a Savinelli is next on my list of to get. More than 70% of mine were estate grabs and many can be had for bear not nothing. Two of my Punto Oros were unsmoked and got them both for $25 each.

It looks similar to my 920ks Deluxe Milano. I have about a dozen Savinellis, mostly Punto Oro and Deluxe Milano. Maybe more. I am looking for a Savinelli collector to buy my unsmoked Mon Ami.

Yep, very similar. Main difference being the sharp transition from heel to shank on the 904/914/9004/9005 and the saddle stem where the 920 has a smooth heel to shank transition and a tapered stem. GBD made an identical but larger yachtsman called the 9613.

For less than $100, even if this one doesn't pass a pipe cleaner I'm not going to be terribly upset.

This showed up the other day. I ordered a random bones classic shape with a $25 coupon to lighten the load. Here is what came in the mail. Pretty cool. A nice Lovat that I plan to stain; my first try at staining a bones. I think brown and tan. Looks good, I cant wait to see the stain!

just in on Saturday, a shiny, new ,brass tone Zippo, purchased with the wife's Marlboro coupons. It's not a pipe lighter, but it's a zippo, and I love Zippos...still wish she'd quit the coffin nails ,but her head is as hard as the case on that lighter!
