The guy in the video looks like he should be tested. Guy is wiped out, wow.
Laughed at the house plan - good one!

Yeah, might as well post the virus memes. Hell, it's not like a lot of us have anything else to do... You know: United We Fall; Divided We Stand

Florida is on a shut down now. Essential only. My step mom got sent home from work for the next 30 days.
Georgia's governor is making an executive order for "shelter in place" tomorrow that will last through the 13th. Essentials only.
I'm glad I live in hurricane territory and always have a 2 week supply of everything needed on hand. It does suck, but at the rate its spreading, 200,000+ cases and doubled in less than 5 days, the government should shut everything down and contain it.

Truckers are critical at a time like this. Several years ago, we transitioned int a "just in time" (JIT) type supply chain, Walmart was at the forefront of it, and it really makes sense from the perspective of a merchant...anyone not doing so operates at a disadvantage, but there is another side of the coin.
I walked down the paper aisle in an Albertson's store in Carlsbad this morning, as an elderly rounded the corner and saw the empty shelves the facial expression made me wonder if she was out of such a necessity..that was sad.

We were well stocked up, but after 3 weeks we are getting a little low on some things. We are probably good for a another week, and with no fresh fruit or produce, 3 more weeks. Not sure how much longer we can spread the toilet paper. ☹️

We must have hit the exact right time in distribution as we got everything we need for a couple months inside if need be. Happy to have a good cellar to tide me through any tough times that may be comin' in tobacco world.

I wonder how many people here are basically laid off during the coronavirus? It must suck to not have a paycheck coming in. This week I logged 2000 miles in 3 days, paid hourly, but it was pretty grueling. Next week is heavier, I hope that I can make it back home on Thursday and chill out for three days...it is pretty demanding, but I am blessed to be pulling a paycheck in a stalled economy.

We have our SS coming in. My wife has lost her income for the next month at least. We will be fine unless things deteriorate a lot more. We also aren't spending anything so that helps. Truck, car, and motorcycle have full tanks. Still a lot of meat in the freezer. Maybe another week of toilet paper left. We are in contact with our friends in case they need help. One guy has a barbecue truck. Most of the others are in essential jobs.

My wife's job at the school as a teacher's aid is on hold, but everyone is still getting a paycheck, so that's good. Im obviously not working any horses or such for now, but we've got enough put back that we're not too worried. A local farmer said if I could help him drive a grain truck this summer, he'd have some work for me then. We are doing better than a lot of folks, and are very grateful.

It's really rough for some people and I pray for them. I'm hoping there is an end in sight. Unfortunately I am hearing April will probably be the worst month for many states.

Last night at 6pm our shelter in place started. I'm out of work until the 13th. I paid all of my monthly bills yesturday, and have enough in my normal account to get me by for a few weeks. If all else fails, I have my emergency account.
I'm glad I thought about a scenario like this happening way before now.
Tl;dr....Out of work, but not sweating it... yet

As long as it doesnt last 3+ months, I'm good. If anything, I'll have veggies in the garden and plenty of wildlife to munch on.

Arizona started that order yesterday. It's a Misdemeanor crime to be out without something legitimately important to do. And yet my wife still thinks this is hype... That's not accurate. Arizona's Stay-At-Home order authorizes a misdemeanor charge only after the issuance of a warning and a failure to comply. And, law enforcement is emphasizing education. Get outside. Social Distance. Stay calm.

Set for a couple months, got plenty of food, water and TP, supplies for small doggie and tobacco...Oh, yeah, so glad I have a cellar.
God bless our truckers who carry our supplies across the country braving the crazies on the road and in the stores.

There are definitely very few cars on my rural route into town these weekend mornings.

I think it's a good idea to have documentation although the order indicates: “no person shall be required to provide documentation or proof of their activities to justify their activities under this order.” I'm carrying a copy of the Order with me just in case along with my professional ID.

Ditto that. I am able to work from home and we have access to some pretty good assistance as well, my wife has been helping our neighbors out and we are willing to share with anyone who needs it in our area.

I'll help in any way that I can as well. Once I get the pressure washing done, the garden is next.

I'll help in any way that I can as well. Once I get the pressure washing done, the garden is next. Spring is later up here than back east, but there is a garden planned soon. Also, we live in the most wheat-producing county in the US. I am literally surrounded by 1000's of acres of wheat fields. I love bread. So that helps.
