Lived in Germany, Malta, traveled many counties, all wonderful & beautiful, but no place can compare to the USA, to me.

I've lived in or seen just about every one of the contiguous states, excepting a handful of the original colonies. The Princess saw the UK, and even though I'd love to see the land of my ancestors (Scotland & Ireland), I don't think I'd like to live there (politics and all...). Everywhere I've been had some good and some bad, but I've never been in one place that I wanted to live permanently until I came back to southern-central Indiana. Right here, right now, with the Princess, 6 acres, a pond, and a barn. With all the issues we've had so far, I still can't wish for anything else.
