Been painting today, so it's a working shirt & jeans, with my smoking jacket-- dubbed my "haggis coat" by the princess. It has almost enough pockets & is incredibly comfortable Comfort, yes! Isn’t that what we strive for? Cheers brother. I had a Nailhead Harris Tweed like that 40 years ago. It was a great jacket. No idea what became of it.

A short 4-hour stint in my scrubs and then it will be leather chaps, rainbow suspenders and Van shoes for the motorcycle ride home.

I was watching 'The ABC Murders' with John Malkovich last night, and I'm thinking I'll be wearing a Homburg and a white goatee, with a shaved head and a separate collar for my starched shirt. Slacks and dress shoes to complete. I must have gotten bored while watching the show, because I really contemplated what it would be like to get up each morning and prepare myself that way, even though I'm unemployed and most everywhere I used to go is closed.
In any event, I can certainly do the shaved head, goatee and homburg part without undue effort.

I showed them to my daughter when she was around ten and she laughed at me - I mean, really made fun of the way we dressed. I told her to laugh now, because they would be back. I think she was 15 when they made their comeback.

Pajamas. My cat in my lap and my daughter in my arm (fell asleep while reading). I'm either that good or that boring.

I only have one suit - I got married in it, later wore it to the funerals of each of my grandparents, and finally to the weddings of each of my children. These days I just wear it to church. It's not out of style either...as far as I know.

Men's suits change little over the years. while there may be high fashion elements in newer ones. The traditional American 2 button or 3 button suit is never out.

Well the leisure suit didn't last long maybe the giant collars ruined the effect or was it the white belt.

This thread is a veritable swamp of sartorial deviance. I feel so boring still in jeans, flannel shirt, and boots. My only nod to fashion being the omnipresent Sig. I need to get more creative I suppose. 🤪

Men's suits change little over the years. while there may be high fashion elements in newer ones. The traditional American 2 button or 3 button suit is never out. I worked in IT in an office for 24 years, and had to wear a suit every day. But as soon as they became optional, I gave all of them to Goodwill except one. I haven't missed them at all, but I did think ties were cool - I had a really wild collection of print ties, all of which have been given to my son who has the same warped sense of humor as me.
