Wolfman’s Special Full Virgina Flake in a sandblasted Brebbia squashed tomato with a tortoise shell acrylic stem.
LAST summer, as I was breaking a 250g bag into four mason jars, i decided to hold one back for pressing. First, I rubbed out the never ending Flake to many smaller ribbons. I then stuffed the mess into my pasta, tobacco press. After 7 days, I removed the thick puck, and placed it in a mason jar. Nine months later (Today) I opened the jar.

Woke up this morning to a non functioning A/C. Now smoking a bowl of Burley Morning Pipe in the RDpipes smooth Rhodesian. And I can't taste it, which is concerning in itself.

I apologize in advance for asking this question, but is it the tobacco that is tasteless or do you think you have temporary lost your sense of smell?

I just couldn't taste it this morning. Sinuses are clogged this morning, but that's typical. I don't taste it on my tongue either.

Sorry for asking but all the people that had it and that I talked to (many) had several symptoms in common, and one of them was the loss of the sense of smell and taste. Not only in the morning however.

another brain fart from this creaky old man. This morning's post should have been TGIF, not HumpDay. In the meantime, a large tarp up from cellar, spread out on front lawn, hosed down, 4 bricks to keep it in place. Wifie plans yard sale Sat, mostly $1 books (assuming Ma Nature behaves of course)! Now CokeClassic at desk, DGT '06 daVinci in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room. Nap done earlier, soon to grocery store & usual Fri late afternoon doings
