I just finished a bowl of Elizabethan Match from P&C in a no name bent billiard. The pipe was the second pipe I ever bought back in about '77 from a pipe shop in Wichita that's probably long out of business.

I got married in August of 77, and picked up the pipe in November...it's so nice to smoke pipes from those good ole days, and remember when so much life was still waiting to be lived. thanks for your post ,Jim...I'm gonna pull my first pipe down off the shelf, and smoke it this evening!

Finished up today’s yard work. So before dinner I had hearth and home bright night in a Karl Erik quarter bent with a 9 mm filter. So after dinner I just changed out the filter. And put a little more of that in there. With just a touch of Elizabethan.

Nice day here in Pinehurst. Worked from the home office this morning. Played golf with the mens group this evening. After dinner with Blondie and a quick movie I've made my way up to the mancave. Time for some 2011 PZ in my 62 Dunhill Bent Bulldog. Sippin Glenrothes. cheers

Hobbit's Weed in a Jobey 680. Nice calm night. Hardly a breeze. Enjoyed the aroma of the lingering smoke. Much better than the horizontal rain this afternoon.

Mr "proof reading" back at it. Certainly not drunk with above post, just xtra tired from full day with mostly wifie issues. Apologies for the typos!
Watering, 2-miles power walks done earlier, no-band 5x50 for company. After feeding the Ed, '06 daVinci in large RadiciRind full bent poker/sitter & continue with the papers. Wifie getting blood-work done. All "work" forward to be inside after I put the summer "windshield bra" on her little buggy (already one on my truck). The below sez it all
79, clear, headed for big nine-oh by late a.m.

Sutliff Spiced Rum in a Nording bent billiard. An excellent smoke. Sweet and extremely flavorful. Must have been the right pipe, perfect tobacco moisture and the stars properly aligned.

I’ve noticed most sites are out of Sansepolcro. I decided it’s time to try it if I’m going to buy any of the 2020 batch. I’m about halfway through a bowl in a MM Mark Twain.

A mish-mash of leavin's. G&H Rum Flake, PS 84 Turkish, a few sticks of Sutliff VA Slice and a pinch of Match Field & Stream in a bent Vauen apple. Finished reading Rascal on my deck for the first time in 40+ years. Put a lump in my throat (the book, not the 'baccy!).
