Going to start the search for my next pipe
Well, shouldn't be that hard really
Looking to get a Peterson System Ebony, just have to find the right shape.....
I also like the Peterson Smooth Tankard...that is a good looking pipe, and I usually prefer a bent over a straight, but my Cobs are slowly changing that.

Funny, I usually prefer bent over straight too, because in my mind, that's the classic pipe shape. But for a drooler like me, straight makes a difference.
Enjoy the rabbit hole...

McG I just wanted to mention that the Peterson Tankard is a rather small pipe. I have one, but I've only smoked it once. It's just too small for me to go through the long break in that Petersons require.

If I was to buy a new Peterson Pipe, I would look at Smokingpipes.com first. Their parent compaqny, Laudisi owns Peterson, so if they choose to, they have the ability to cherry pick the pipes that they want.

The engineering should be way better than any factory pipe you buy, and you'd be looking at around between$125-$200 for it. Corey (Abb) Brown, Neal Monier, me, and others are in that range. In fact, I'm working on a tankard/poker right now.

I spoke with someone last year at Boswell about doing a commission / special pipe; I was told that's not what he does. Mind you, I don't count that as a strike against JM...he makes what he likes, and I'm very good with that. My half dozen Boswells demonstrate what I think of him.

The more I think about it, a small Tank that will fit about 1 flake...real short smoke, would be amazing for a lunch smoke while at work!

I have a basic idea of what I think I want Small Tankard/Poker with a slightly curved stem / military mount...a small short smoke travel kinda thing.... let me figure it out, and I will be in touch!!!

The New Creations section has some stuff. I have a couple threads, but they're not always updated. Most carvers use instagram these days as their primary means of networking, and showing their craft. Me, personally: If you have Instagram, I'm at www.instagram.com/jeverettpipes/Facebook, www.facebook.com/jeverettpipes/

I will reach out on here, I don't have social media accounts.... McG
