Inspired me to go Scotch, tonight: Highland Park. I had some Highland Park 15yr last night, didn't care for it, too smokey for me. But the 12yr was much better. Also was able to try some THE MACALLAN Edition No. 6, which was pretty ok. I've never had HP 15, just the 12. I've got a bottle of Balvenie Single Barrel 15, but haven't popped it's cork yet. The regular Macallan was my main squeeze when I first started drinking whisk[e]y. |

Yesterday the store had Johnnie Walker Red on sale for $15 for a 750 ml bottle so I bought two. I am familiar with the black and blue they are very smooth. I had never drank the red, had a full stomach last night and that stuff had a rough edge on it, drank three fingers in a tumbler before bedtime.
Woke with a headache and a funky stomach... I don’t think this one is my cup of tea.

Good quality fine-ground beans in a French press coffee maker. Vigorously boiling water. Poured into the mug when ready with two Hershey kisses in the bottom. Stir until completely melted and mixed. Warming on a cold, rainy day.

They should just put us at the same time zone as Arizona. |

Schmidt's Supermarket had Jameson on sale. One bottle for $17.99 and one for $19.88. Same stuff, their basic Irish Whiskey. Better then the $28 I paid last weekend.
