Slightly richer than what? Famous Grouse! That is my favorite Scotch Whisky blend. Hard to find here, of course. I prefer it to many single malts.

Old Forester is one of my favorite Bourbons. Never had the 1920. Bet it is nice!

What's to know? It's Wild Turkey. Been my friend for over 50 years. Cannot go wrong with Wild Turkey 101. ππ When you have to replace 4 freeze plugs on your on the engine of your 65 Chrysler Newport in freezing temperatures on the street in the dark you find out who your real friends are. Wild Turkey is a true friend.

Old Forester is one of my favorite Bourbons. Never had the 1920. Bet it is nice! 'Tis. It's in the upper echelon of my bourbon preferences at the moment. As for Wild Turkey 101, it's perfectly fine bourbon. I can't say I quite understand all the praise it gets, but maybe it's just a matter of it not tickling my particular fancy. My top group looks something like this: Angel's Envy, Elijah Craig Small Batch, Old Dominick, Wilderness Trail, and OF1920. Tonight: Elijah Craig.

Dry red wine. Montes, Cab Sauv, Colchagua Valley, Chile 2014. 90 points, Wine Spectator, #42 in the top 100 wines. Can't allow this to get much older. Just slightly past it's prime. But still damn good.

A couple of fingers of Johnnie Blue this Thursday evening. Feeling good.π₯ππ Inspired me to go Scotch, tonight: Highland Park. I had some Highland Park 15yr last night, didn't care for it, too smokey for me. But the 12yr was much better. Also was able to try some THE MACALLAN Edition No. 6, which was pretty ok.
