Caffeine free Diet Coke...for 2 reasons. 1. Caffeine free Dr Pepper is hard to find, and 2. That pesky atrial for fibrillation thing that I so never want to have again. Wife went to the doctor because her heart having flip flops. He ran tests and couldn't find any problems. Then he asked a bunch of questions. When she said that she was taking 2 200mg caffeine pills every day she went to work, he left the room. Doc told me I was going to have to go out n blood thinners. I thought she was gonna bust a gut when I mentioned that scotch was a blood thinner.

4 Roses - after dinner Caught my puppy trying to drink it! I'll be in trouble with the state social services now. Contributing to the delinquency of a dog.
But I did drink after her.

Hey, I have a question for all you experts.
Is bourbon/whiskey (or rum .....), like wine? In that after it's opened (and exposed to air/O2), the it oxidizes and the flavor changes?
Seems like when I opened this bottle of 4 Roses it was great. But the next time, while good, it seemed to have changed flavor-wise.

Less due to oxidation than to evaporation of the alcohol content, though. By the time you near the bottom of a bottle, the proof can change a fair bit. That's my understanding of the process, anyway.

I find it to be a bit smoother after some air gets in the bottle for a few days and I don't think it's evaporation. But I could be wrong.

I mean, are there people who actually don't finish the bottle once they open it? 🍷

I mean, are there people who actually don't finish the bottle once they open it? 🍷 the one thing I learned about red wine is drink it when you open it If you want to keep wine good for a day or two after opening, you need a stopper that allows you to pump the air out and slow the oxidation. They sell these in most liquor stores and you can buy them online for cheap. Keep in mind, that once it's been corked, it will go downhill fast, this will just help slow the process down and allow you a couple of days at most to enjoy it.

I do have an inert gas I spray into the bottle when I don't finish it. It allows it to go a few days with out going bad.

Pouring 2 fingers of Glenmorangie 10 and selecting the next smoke ... likely a Lat blend to pair.

Not technically in a glass. A bottle of JD that's been in the bottom of a toolbox for about 30 years. 50ml.

A Hispanic contractor gave me a bottle of Tequila his brother in Mexico makes... pretty rip-snorting.
