I don't understand your assessment. Let me put it this way: the first time I took a swallow of it, I got a full-body shudder. I've been drinking it for years, and while it's not my favorite, I do like it. No deficiencies that I can tell. I like it better than a lot of more expensive bourbons, such as Willits.

Oh, I'm not saying it's bad bourbon. It's just not to my taste.

Tanqueray Martini, Medium Dry with M&R Vermouth, a few dashes of orange bitters. Shaken over ice and poured onto a large green olive.

EW BiB, birthday dinner for the 18year old granddaughter. Way too much social for me, ready for a drink!

Owing to significant discomfort in a lower limb, Tanqueray, neat, with a measure of THC tincture added.

With the coming of winter snows, the bar here has changed from Martinis to Irish Whiskey, largely Bushmills or an occasional Jameson, always neat.
Adjust your plans accordingly.

Having a bit of a German brandy from my Dad's stash. From the 1980s, called Schloss Boosenburg. Very smooth.

Had a large thread of Llano Texas Sweet Red last night. Good, but a bit too sweet. Maybe add a little seltzer? Probably would be good. Back in the early 70s when we were water skiing we would mix the gallon jug sangria with Sprite and sucked on it all day. But it wasn't as sweet as this wine. I used to like it but it's sweeter than Lambrusco. My nephew's wife has had me drinking expensive cabernets and ruined me for cheap wine. ☹️

Wicked Weed Brewing Freak of Nature Double IPA. Haven't had this one in a while, figured I might as well before it gets too cool for lighter beers. Nice with some Escudo

A glass of Pinot Noir. Needed some for the sauce I'm cooking. So, some for the cook, too.
