That is a little vague. Details, man! What toppings on which type crust? ? It was at a local place - nothing great. Tomato sauce was too sweet. As far as toppings - peperoni, sausage, green pepper, mushrooms, cheese. Thick crust. 3 bottles of Stella Artois - was pretty good.

Had a late lunch at The Cracker Barrel in Lufkin. A grilled catfish filet, turnip greens and mashed potatoes with gravy. The food was very well prepared and the service was like nothing we've seen since before the pandemic. Every restaurant in Lufkin was packed.

What is crawfish Pontchartrain? It's a spicy butter and heavy cream sauce. Very rich, but you eat it in very small portions. With crawfish tails added in. Very good on top of most any baked or broiled fish. Found a few recipes. I'm going to try this soon.

Dinner with the family at one of the local brewpubs. Had their version of jambalaya. Not authentic, but tasty. I have gotten this dish several times there. Had a couple beers. Their take on a German altbier and English bitter. Both very well done.

I'm going to try this soon. In addition to the regular spices, some Tony Chacheres Cajun seasoning to taste. It should be noticeably spicy.

Some cooks like to add sugar which I do not.

Next move, Schwan #506 ham/cheese omlet, added cut up sausage link, shred cheddar on top. Nuke to plateful of mess. Add k-cup cocoa, all to smoking room desk, eat & continue with the papers.

That sounds about right. Sorry about the tomato sauce. Some cooks like to add sugar which I do not. Not too sweet and not too much. I don't care for over-sauced pizza. I also enjoy pizza made with pesto rather than tomato sauce. It is lighter and does not have that annoying sweetness which sometimes is in tomato sauce. The Roma style with sliced tomatoes rather than sauce is also excellent.

That's one of our favorites ... pesto, mozzarella, grilled chicken, artichoke, black olive and walnuts. Drizzle with lemon juice when it comes out of the oven.

Some homemade mac & cheese with a little smoked cheddar, parm, white wine roux in a lumaca rigata pasta topped with some browned bread crumbs. The cheese roux wasn't quite as smokey as I wanted so I cheated and stirred in some liquid smoke. Baked for 30 min . . . it worked.

Spent a long day in town. So, lunch at the favorite Mexican joint, the one with the real...Carnitas Taco plate. Yum.
Supper was a Baconator from Wendy's. I can report that quality remains consistently good.
As far as I know, few plants were killed in the feeding of me today.
