A Woolrich caped Buffalo plaid hunting jacket. It's been in Harrisburg PA for 6 days now. Shweet. Classics are classics for a reason. I have a similar coat, though it's not a real Woolrich. Warm as a sonofagun.

Really have a blockbuster lining up here: - new Peterson St. Patty's Day XLsomething - 1792 Flake - War Horse Bar - SG Squadron Leader - SG Skiff Mixture - LJ Peretti 333 (all burley blend) - LJ Peretti No Name Blend (I actually have the first two on the list, but I'm recovering from the 'rona and I can't smell very well right now so I don't want to waste a smoke yet) Glad you're on the COVID recovery path. And that's a nice mail day, indeed.

Warm as a sonofagun. I blame Toshtego. But I figured it would be good for working outside in cold weather. And the price was right. But I am concerned about the shipping.

Well, I wouldn't rush out and sell your current coat before you actually take possession of this one.

Doubling down on Gandalf’s comment. Ron, what the heck is that? Ludites want to know..... You seriously don't know what a snipe hunt is? I went on my first one when I was a Cub Scout. You bring the stick and I’ll bring the burlap sack.

I'm familiar with snipe hunts - but I wondered what a "BPF" snipe hunt was. Thought it might be a new twist on the old hunt.

Tobaccoreviews even played along with it. www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/2950/kanes-of-new-zealand-lamb-cake-slicesFeel free after time passes and new people come onto the forum...kind of like when my brother who worked as a telephone man sending an apprentice to supply asking for a can of dial tone.

Well I got No. 8 Slices, 150th anniversary flake, Boston slices, DD burley, and No. 33 Nice! I'd be interested to hear what you think of the Boston Slices, particularly. Had my eye on that one. In regard to the Boston Slices - they are great! Very similar citrusy Orlik Golden Sliced flavor. There are hints of something brown liked baked goods or the smell of Newminster #400 flake. A little burn on the retrohale but I enjoy it. I’m really glad I got this one as well as the 150th flake. I would recommend going ahead and getting a good size bag of it because I already wish I had bought more.

You had me at "Orlik Golden Sliced." The possibility of that similarity is what interested me in the first place.

Not exactly in the mail, but purchased for curbside pickup tomorrow (if we're not iced in), I've got some spirits coming. I know you've all been on tenterhooks to find out what I'd get. Threw out an offer on EBay for a Fabrizio Romeo and it was accepted. Looks like a Hawkbill or Bent Brandy, but in any case a great looking pipe I will be thrilled to have. Read somewhere he only does about 1000 pipes a year, so not mass produced. Love the grain on this one.

Here's the new Peterson that I'm waiting on from England.
Finally with a little bit of free computer time... going to respond to a bunch of posts (I've been reading off my phone but don't usually like to post from there)...
Ron that pipe is awesome... I thought that gap on the Deluxe would mess with my OCD but lawdy that picture has changed my mind...

The Peterson Saint Patrick's Day pipes are available today on smokingpipes.com. I picked up the Prince shaped pipe, although I nearly went with the Rhodesian. Nice one... I got the St. Patty's day in a different shape... but I have been looking at that shape, 308 I think? I've been wanting an apple and I like slightly bent stem on that one
