From Sante’s Stash. Actually received 2 CB’s. So with all the shipping issues going on. Go figure, I got the box from Dan, before I even bought it! JK But I think from the time he put it in the mail to the time I received it. 3 days maybe? My part of the Stash arrived a couple of days ago, too. Enjoy yours in good health!

Oliva V No. 4 (x5) Nub 358 Cameroon (x5) Nub 358 Habano (x5) Maestro del Tiempo 6102R LE (x5) Good choice on the Maestro del Tiempo. You can’t go wrong with any of the Warped lineup.

I have a few prince pipes and they are great smokers....not a common shape, but when properly made, they are a great addition to the stable.

This one should be arriving today. I have read some mixed reviews about Road Town pipes, so I'm hoping this will be a daily smoker rather than one that serves out its time on the rack.

That is a handsome pipe. If it smokes as well as it looks, you’re in good shape. I sure hope so! If it doesn't, then I'm just going to hold out for a Tim West or Aldo Velani bent dublin. I'm debating on whether to just save up for a meer, since I'm afraid that I will smoke a briar too hot and damage it before I learn proper technique.

One still tastes like chemicals after 4 years. Guess. Get a big Peterson. You will need superhuman suction to damage one of those.

What ever happened to "through snow....?
The words "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds" have long been associated with the American postal worker. Though not an official creed or motto of the United States Postal Service, the Postal Service acknowledges it as an informal motto[1] along with Charles W. Eliot's poem "The Letter".[2]

And the mother-lode is assembled... I'll be in the garage for the remainder of the evening... Would love to hear your thoughts on the Warhorse and Skiff Mixture once you’ve tried them. . Skiff Mixture. Very good. In the same profile as EMP and Presbyterian. Sort of funny with these English blends, I do not smoke them often but every time I do I say "dang I should smoke these more often." Skiff Mixture I think has a bit of an edge over EMP or Presby. It's like it is richer? Also the latakia has a more savory, chewy taste. . War Horse. Did not care for it too much. A bit harsh I think. In the same flavor profile I think I prefer 1792 or St. Bruno Flakes...

I quoted this same thing when I went to the post office today to ask why I got an update that said they had tried to deliver and couldn't gain access. The manager explained that they said that the side roads were too treacherous for the carriers. He then claimed that they 'had to scan the package with *some*thing to stop the clock.' In other words, they did a fraudulent scan in order for their numbers to look better than they actually are. In any event, I asked the manager on duty to locate my package, since they had scanned it twice as out for delivery, and again to claim that I had failed to provide the carrier access to my mailbox. I told him it was the least he could do, since he implicated me in their lie.

I suspect that he could have possibly made it, but I really don't want him to try. Our driveway goes down from the house then has an over 25% slope up to the highway. It was ice under the snow and it would have been hard to get up it even with 4WD. The others drive Chevy Sparks. I really don't want them to try.

Smooth as silk, but then again all of mine is 2016 at the latest.
What a difference a day makes....but then again, I don't remember it being harsh when fresh.
