One of the great riffs in pop music. Feeling kind of melancholy. Lost a nephew and a niece in the last year, it looks like a sis-in-law is next.

I guess that song would be appropriate for you in those circumstances. Losing family is never easy. Only thing I can offer, besides a knowing nod, is try to focus on being glad you ever had them at all.

Static, mostly. Lots of static on 40 meters and down, very few voices. We need more sunspots.

I just read that Rusty Young, who helped found Poco out of the breakup of Buffalo Springfield had died last Wednesday. Great talent, RIP... while being overshadowed by Richie Furay, Jim Messina, Timothy Schmidt, he really delivered the goods.

My daughter recently got me into Gregory Alan Isakov (in her words, "He's a f#&*ing poet!"), so I'm listening to his album that he recorded with the Colorado Symphony.
It's absolutely gorgeous. She was correct.

Just heard this, thinking of my bride in California caring for her gravely ill sister.

Keith Urban is a pretty damn good guitarist! Doesn't seem to get enough credit.
I've seen him in concert twice. Always a great show.

A fun video by (in my opinion) the greatest group on the planet, The Eagles.
Driven to greatness by Don Henley (a native of Linden, TX - right Ron) and Glenn Frey (Detroit, MI).
