Happy Saturday, everyone. Took a vacation day yesterday and was away from computer all day, but managed to get my share of pipesmoking in. The usual blends in the usual pipes. Started today with Haunted Bookshop in a cob. So, more of the usual in the usual. Going to grill some Italian sausage for dinner today. Moving on to McConnell Scottish Cake in the same cob.

SPS Court of St. James in my T. Cristiano Signature bent Acorn. Relaxing after unloading a hay delivery to refill the hay shed. For some reason I always thought that you were a Kalifornia guy, not a country person. Heck, you live in a smaller town than we do! π π€

Tried Whiskey Biscuit Gravy (JustForHim.com) in an MM Cob - for the first time. taiguy66 - per your request, I'll try to describe it: Pouch note is pleasant - a sweet Latakia aroma. Very sweet on the light, then mildly sweet for the rest of the smoke. The flavor of the whiskey is present throughout the smoke - mild/medium strength and pleasant. Plenty of Latakia in the taste and aroma without being overwhelming - medium strength and pleasant. The whiskey and Latakia flavors are evenly balanced with the Latakia taking a slight lead near the end of the bowl. I like it. I'll be ordering more.

B.L.W.B. in my new RDpipe; it got here this afternoon, and I feel like a kid at Christmas. This thing is super lite and lovely to look at, has a great hand feel ,and perfect air flow, and it be just in my head ,but it seems to transfer flavor more accurately than my other pipes...
I could better judge these things if I'd purchased 2 pipes from Ron, Silly me.

Burley Light without a Bite, from Lane...I had said I'd start this pipe on butternut Burley ,but I didn't take time to dig it out of the cellar. The B.L.W.B. was on a shelf near my desk.
