Very nice, Ronv69...love the twist and the blue... Ron has it down in the bulldog dept. Butternut burley in a CG stained cob. I’m sounding like a broken record but I LOVE THE LOOK OF THAT PIPE WALT!

B.L.W.B. in my new RDpipe; it got here this afternoon, and I feel like a kid at Christmas. This thing is super lite and lovely to look at, has a great hand feel ,and perfect air flow, and it be just in my head ,but it seems to transfer flavor more accurately than my other pipes... I could better judge these things if I'd purchased 2 pipes from Ron, Silly me. I just quoted you so I could like this twice.

Good morning! The princess is sleeping in after staying up late/early deglazing & painting cabinets. It rained all night, and is still sprinkling, so I'm taking shelter on the front porch with a bowlful of Visions of Celephaïs in my Grabow freehand & a cup of City Market dark roast coffee & chicory, and enjoying the morning quiet and sounds of the rain. Times like this make it easy to remember how blessed I am.

It almost has a calming effect, in my case anyway. Enjoy your VoC and coffee. Seems to me you’ve found your “fortress of solitude.”

Yuck. Rain, flooding, rain, and mo' flooding. ERR in a MM Washington. Is this “normal” for you weather wise in your region? I've only been here six years and there are usually some torrential rains in April and May. So a little earlier than normal and this is the snowiest winter yet, too. The natives think the weather has been weird for years. I've always been a gardener and I could see things were getting wacky in New England for many seasons before we moved to the Bluegrass. Next up might be Sutliff Virginia Slices, most likely in a pipe.
