I spent the morning with a really fine bowl of Squadron Leader in a Kaywoodie lovat, along with two cups of coffee and a youtube video I think you'll enjoy..."bow making with Ed Scott" will keep you in your seat long enough to have a pipe , and Ed is a pipe smoker too, and he makes me want to kick myself in the butt for all the time I waste farting around in my shop! Squadron leader, a very nice choice sir! And thank you for the YouTube suggestion. I am I am currently enjoying both!

Just finished Three Friars, setting up some Peterson Irish Oak in a MM MorganMod. Apparently Irish Oak is no more. I haven't tried Irish Cask.

Busy day today. While working, I had Haunted Bookshop (twice), Three Friars, LC Virginia/Burley and Match Victorian in the same MM Great Dane Spindle. Still working for a little while, yet.

A test bowl of the mash up blend that I’m fine tuning in my Danish made Stanwell Hand Made 118. I'm going to be calling this one Late Night Dragon. Currently, it’s two parts Paul's Late Night Smoke and one part Country Squire Green Dragon. Paul's Late Night Smoke is Syrian Latakia, Perique, and Virginia and is billed as a Nightcap alternative. It’s a bit on the Lat and Perique heavy side. Paul's also made Morning Smoke which was Syrian Latakia and Virginia but lighter on the Lat than Late Night Smoke. So, my goal has been to find what Virginia and how much to cut Late Night Smoke with to achieve Morning Smoke with Perique. Country Squire’s Green Dragon with its caramel tones has turned out to be a good choice.

After finishing all my medical appointments, I finally managed to get a pipe in today. Went with Erinmore in a Ronaldo with Bengal Spice tea on the side. First time trying this blend and taste’s very similar to SG’s Sqn Leader.

I thought that I was getting low on Happy Brown Bogie and was sweating being able to get some more soon. Rooted around in the cellar, and found a 500 gram roll from 2016 and a 450 gram or so roll from 2019. So that is what I am smoking tonight.

Throwing out my Brigham tobaccos. They leave a brown filming my teeth and gums. Stanwell fruit and vanilla in my Brigham mountaineer which I haven't smoked in a while. I had to look up the Brigham tobacco, quite spendy up there in Canada. Sheesh. Doesn't most tobacco eventually stain your teeth, or is it out of the ordinary?

It's just dirty tobacco I think. None of my other tobacco has done this. So I am sticking with better tobacco.

I've a kg or two put up, and a kg of Brown Twist. When I want it , nothing else will do. I've also 500g presliced--much easier to jar--for the laziness factor. Anyway,Sutliffe Breckenridge to start and moving on to PS LNF in a 5th Ave Washington.

greets again all. Usual walks earlier, no-band 5x50 for company. After the Ed is fed, Abingdon in SerJac Maxima 1/8 bent bulldog & continue with the papers. Anybody check out the huge SerJacs at SP.com? One freehand...rare 7-Maxima. All have interior bowl diamater (sp) of at least 1". (would copy/paste from SP site but when try to bring up word "copy" all it does is show a list of "tabs" & nobody in the techie world can fix it).
30, getting icy & windy at present, turns to snow by evening
