Wilke Peanut Butter & Chocolate in a Georg Jensen bent egg. I think that Georg Jensen pipes are underrated, I have two and they are great smokers. I like the fact that they have a connection to Per Jensen, great guy and tobacco stud.

Love my Georg Jensen...you are right they are great smokers...this one is from the 40's I'm told...belonged to a neighbor's grandfather. Got some Cheer 2013 in it.

This evening, Mac Baren Navy Flake in a Radice Rusticated Twin Bore Apple; then Magnum Opus in a Savinelli Roma 320 KS. A couple of pretty nice smokes. I'll be in the Mobile Smoking Lounge as it is a damp, unseasonably cool evening.

I’m a little behind in my posts... started off with. AcB’s Plumcake and finished off with St. James Flake (my go to smoke). Overall, an excellent day at the office. 😁👍

Why does bourbon make it so easy to fall asleep and so hard to wake up?🤪 More coffee, and a cob full of Nightwatch for the morning commute. How does a thermos know when to keep your drink hot, and when to keep it cold? I'm typically so focused on scouring the thread for what everybody else is smoking, I forget to post what's in my own bowl. Lately, it's been a lot of Old Gowrie, some LBF, little bit of Three Friars, and various Navy flakes. Hope to get some time this weekend to sit back and enjoy some of the stuff Emily sent me. Want to be able to take my time with those.

I think, with a few exceptions, Navys are my favorite flake. Enjoy!

Capstan, Stokkebye, and Mac Baren are the Navy flakes I've had recently. I enjoyed them. Still too new to me to draw any conclusions, though.

May 12th. The nights are dropping in to the 40s this week making sitting out for a morning bowl a bit crisp until the sun comes up. yesterday I loaded up two bowls of c&d virginia flake and I was impressed by the blend. I suffer from sugar burns with many blends no matter how slow and cool I smoke so imagine my delight to find a true golden virginia flake I can tolerate! that said, my second bowl of the flake in the same day gave me a medium burn ending my smoking day.(no where near as painful as petersons perfect plug...after two large bowls of that back to back I was in quite a bit of discomfort. that also was my first real taste of how bad the sugar burn could be..I was sipping my unsugared blends for a couple of days until my mouth stopped tingling)... Rest assured the blend is on my weekly rotation due to the fine flavor, I just need to stay with one bowl ONLY! this morning is all spc plum pudding. The tin is finally empty after filling the ebony 107 spigot, newgrange x105 spigot, and savi 515. I really enjoy the blend and it is a bit sad whenever a tin is finished! I have a lot of new blends to try and with the plum pudding finished(just for now as I have half a pound in long term storage) I am free to open more of the 2oz tasters. anyhoo, I think those bowls will hold me for a bit...lol have a great day
