Why does bourbon make it so easy to fall asleep and so hard to wake up?🤪
More coffee, and a cob full of Nightwatch for the morning commute.

May 11th. learned a lesson...dont back a big bowl of sparkplug with a giant bowl of plum pudding. one affects the other to my taste buds. so today I started with sunday picnic (c&d) in the savi 515 rusticated panel billiard. the golden virginas are nice as a first bowl of the day. My Mars Cigars tobacco order came today so I spent some time going over which tins to save for later and which go on the tasting list. i got a 2oz tin of c&d golden flake that sounds like beans in the tin when shook lightly. i inspected the tin for damage as I have never had a tin rattle in such a way before and I am wondering what is wrong. Despite having a lot of open tins I pulled the tab and was met with small dry cubes and pieces with a bit of fine dust sized tobacco. what is going on?.. is it a blender series? is the tin filled with the wrong blend? why is it bone dry yet slightly heavy?. So into the luxor basket pipe it goes. while it is quite dry loading, after a light it seemed to "resin up" a bit and tamped normally. I will say it has a lovely flavor and doesn't burn fast nor have any bite. So I am going to look into this as I love Virginias but can not stand the bites. Finding a golden Va. that I can smoke is a treat..but why so dry in the tin?. after this bowl it will be some plum pudding in the ebony 107 pete. have a great day!

No bite because of the dryness, maybe? On topic - I've got some Low Country Virginia-Burley burning in a no-name basket Zulu.
